"As others have said Emilia is just wonderful, and has excellent suggestions for dining and travel. The cottage is nice, but small. The AC is wonderful and works well. When using the AC it's a bit dark in the room, due to window over the bed & the front door being solid wood, no glass. There isn't a table to eat indoors, so in foul weather a sit down meal could be a problem. The table is on the covered front porch. The outdoor clothesline was handy for beach towels, but hooks or a towel bar are...

"Alex and Annie were delightful and helpful hosts. The property allowed us to be absolute vegetables. We explored GrandeTerre our first 6 days, but we never got in our car after that. Instead, we walked through the neighborhood to the bakery, grocery store and vegetable stand; we hiked along the coast; we took picnics to the beach; and we lounged at the beautifully-landscape pool. "

"The beach is steps away, so easy to get to. Property is a new build, with all essentials like AC, plumbing, kitchen appliances functioning well. Area can get busy with difficulty parking. New build next door was tolerable. Everything you need is an easy walk from the door. "

On est a l'écart de la foule de la côte mais on y est pas tres loin si l'envie nous prend. Marina à 5 min. Plage à 2 min... Je recommande les yeux fermés."

"Nos deux semaines chez la famille Ozier ont vraiment été agréables. Le logement est proche des commodités et est très fonctionnel. Le lit est particulièrement confortable et il fait bon vivre sur la petite terrasse. Les animaux de compagnie ne nous on point dérangé et nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins. Je recommande !"

"M. Lamby était toujours prêt, mais à part à l'arrivée et au départ, on n'avait pas besoin. L'appartement est très tranquille, la piscine propre et la bonne température après une journée de plage, plongée, ou randonnée. Nous serions prêt à y retourner. "

"The public area noise was overwhelming, and amplified noise continued each night until at least 11 pm. The food for breakfast left much to be desired, and the dinner options were very limited: either a tired buffet or a pleasant cafe at the water's edge with limited food options. We will not return or advise friends to visit Fleur d'Epee."

Good value, nice pool but location was a challenge for parking

"ProsPriced reasonably - good value. Outside terrace was spacious. Pool was clean and private. Closeness to beaches on east side of island Welcome from the manager. A/C was goodGood wifiClean ConsPlage de Petit Havre is a very popular beach for families and surfers. Parking was a nightmare every day. If you left the residence during the day, you could not plan to come back until a least 5:00 pm or you would not find a place to park.The apartment needs some TLC and maintenance. The pictures in the listing were from a better time for this condo. Tape peeling off the fridge, fan on the terrace had a badly bent blade - I was able to straighten it out enough to use it. The kitchen was fairly well stocked but needed some utensils - no wine glasses, no egg flipper"

Magnificent bright apartment near the beach

Good location for exploring the area

"We found the accommodation to be good value for money compared with properties nearer the beaches. It was @ 10 minutes walk to beaches and restaurants. The flat had a well equipped kitchen, air-con and a nice terrace. Good communication from the owner too. "
