"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. Lovely area for cycling"

"While this property had many good points there was one bad point which is a big problem. Veronique and her husband were very good hosts. They let us check in early. The hot tub was great. The beds were comfortable. Great location for the beach. Bikes to use to cycle to town just 5-10 minutes. Small but well equipped kitchen/dining/lounge. The outside space would benefit from decking over the whole area as the grass was sparse and not nice to walk on...but not a major issue. If you are allergic...

"A little disappointed! Unfortunately we arrived in wet weather and couldn't gain access to the property. We assumed that we would be met, but apparently we needed to contact the non English speaking caretaker and our french is not conversational. Fortunately we were able to contact the owner who was able to arrange access. "Ce gîte est excellent pour passer quelques jours au Crotoy à deux pas de la plage et en plein centre du village. La maison rénovée avec goût est très bien équipée et agréable à vivre. Je vois deux pistes d'amélioration. La première est vraiment un détail : préciser dans l'annonce en ligne l'existence du garage, accessible par l'arrière de la maison et pratique pour décharger les bagages. "The information was inaccurate. No sauna, communal pool 6km away & Expedia clearly said linen & towels included which they tried to charge us for on arrival. Worse was the following phone calls & being rudely told to leave if we did not hand over 400 euro cash deposit which was ludicrous. Not shown on booking form. In the end I had to leave my passport with the lady who met us which was worrying. All this took 1 hour on arrival to sort which ruined the afternoon."
