"A characterful house with a good big garden and a super location a short walk to the lovely beach at St Jorioz and also close to a practical town with useful services. Lovely to sit on the small balcony outside the kitchen window while someone else is cooking. "The property is located a short drive from the Les Houches and St Gervais ski resorts, other locations in Chamonix can be easily reached too. It is well equipped and we had a very comfortable stay. The property also boasts a wonderful view of the mountains from the front door. There was no WiFi but there was an option to connect by cable. However, mobile signal was good so this was not a problem. I would recommend this property if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in the mountains."

"We had a wonderful time in our lakeside holiday home. The house was immaculately clean and well provisioned for 10 people. The lakeside garden and jetty were the real stars of our holiday. We spent most days sat by the lake, dipping in and out, playing on our sups and kayaks. The cycle path is just behind the house and this made our holiday car free. The road between the house and the garden was quite busy, but this did not detract from a fabulous stay."

"We had a wonderful stay here. the location is truly perfect -- sipping coffee as the sun rose over the mountains across the lake is my top memory from the entire summer, with more active pursuits in and around the lake not far behind. The residence was excellent --everything we needed with a lot of common space. We had an issue with an alarm that the property manager addressed promptly (even though it was Sunday)."

Le village des Carroz à proximité est dynamique. M et Mme Caron sont très accueillants et disponibles au moindre souci. "Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."
