Beautiful Périgourdine restored by nature, no neighbors. The house is located at a place called Maine Netherlands after a small paved road without exit. This family home has been fully restored by us. You will be charmed by the decoration, comfort and charm. On the ground floor, very large kitchen / dining room, spacious living room with pellet stove, 1 separate WC, 1 bath with walk-in shower and bath, 2 bedrooms, upstairs 2 bedrooms and a bathroom bathroom with shower and toilet. Everything is made for holidays with family or friends. We accept your pet, the garden is fenced.

Peaceful old country home for our family vacation
The area offers wide range of adventures. Caves, markets, shops, beautiful old villages, stunning scenery. The cottage was well equipped for most of our needs. We do have a few observations. The standing fans were great with the hot weather but the small fan didn't work making one room without window coverings extra warm. A full length mirror would be a nice addition. The downstairs shower was slow to drain. Overall it was the trip of a lifetime and we would not hesitate to recommend

Lovely house in a gorgeous location
The house is a renovated stone farmhouse with a great sheltered porch where we ate many outdoor meals, even during the frequent gentle rain showers. The yard and outbuildings are surrounded by woods and farm fields, where we enjoyed watching the Aquitaine Blond cattle the first week. It's 3K from the village of Le Bugue, where there are great weekly markets, boulangeries, restaurants, and a delightful 1900 theme park and canoe livery. We stayed for a month and one thing I'd do differently is clarify from the start what are the expectations about leaving. We spent our last day cleaning and doing laundry only to learn as we left that our host Carol, who'd been otherwise very responsive, expected to be there when we left, and that all the laundry had to be done by professionals. She told us to ignore the leaving instructions on the refrigerator. That would have been helpful to know from the start. But overall, it was a delightful stay and we highly recommend Chez Felicie.

Loving LeBugue
The farmhouse near Le Bugue afforded us a wonderful rural setting to enjoy the Perigord. From markets to museums to caves, we had a wonderful exploration of the region. Le Bugue and our farmhouse was a great location to visit the beautiful villages along the Vezere and Dordogne Rivers.

Central location and very well equipped
We arrived and met by Carol. The property was very good. It accommadated our family group very easily. The kitchen was very well equiped and easy to use. The sofa’s in the lounge were a little uncomfortable as we had a pregnant lady, they were low with very little back support. The bedrooms were very well appointed - one had no hanging space for clothes but we got around that. The two bathrooms were very well fitted and good to use. Overall, our stay was comforatable and better than was expected. There will always be some niggles but they were not enough to put us off booking again.

Wonderful Peacfull Countryside Stone Cottage
We just spent a wonderful week at this cottage set in the countryside near the town of Le Bugue. The cottage was very quaint and clean and so peaceful with only the cows as your neighbors . We did get lost trying to find the cottage but ended up on a farm only to find it was the brother of Pierre the owner who very kindly showed us the way. We also met Mrs Saint Amand who was very friendly and helped us to find a local vet for our dogs passport vaccines. All the shops are near by and there is one large supermarket only 10 minutes away for all your every day needs. All the bigger towns are only around 45 minutes away and worth a visit. If you have any questions or need advice the owners are very helpful and get back to you ASAP. Unfortunately the television didn't have any English speaking channels or a DVD player but having the Internet I was able to connect to the outside world for news. However you can use a USB stick that I was fortunate to have with me to watch movies . I would recommend taking a fan with you as there was no air conditioning or fans for the your comfort at night time. Opening a window was not an option because of the bugs and flies. To be honest the only negative side of this rental was that we were not aware that there would be a charge for electricity or that you have to sign a rental contract that is all in French. This should be made clear on the Owners Direct websites to avoid any confusion or embarrassment. More towels and brighter light bulbs would be helpful please Mr Saint Amand on your next shopping trip. In short this cottage is a wonderful peaceful holiday home for all the family to enjoy. Nous remercions Carol pour son accueil chaleureux, ses conseils et sa disponibilité. Très jolie maison, bien équipée avec un jardin entièrement clos (très apprécié par notre petit chien). Superbe séjour !
Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce gite charmant. La maison a beaucoup de cachet et elle est très bien équipée. Ce que nous et nos enfants ont le plus apprécié c'est le jardin et le paysage, les vaches dans le champ adjacent à la propriété, un vrai havre de paix et de calme. Les diners dehors sont très agréables sous la tonnelle. Quant à la maison, elle est belle, agréable et pratique. Juste un petit défaut : il faisait très chaud à l'étage car sous les toits (mais nous sommes venus en période de canicule).

logement et environnement parfait!
Très belle maison, rénovée avec goût et située à proximité de tous les points de visite (Sarlat, château de Castelnau, Beynac..). Petit bémol concernant la gestion des déchets car nous devions faire beaucoup de kilomètres afin de trouver les poubelles. Pas de composteur pour les déchets organiques. Le salon de jardin est vétuste, peu confortable et pas très propre (nous n'avons pas trouvé de set de table afin de pouvoir y déjeuner). Le reste était parfait, nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

Een geweldige locatie, midden tussen de weilanden, waar je alleen het geluid van de vogels, krekels en af en toe een loeiende koe hoort. Mooi, ruim en sfeervol ingericht huis. Communicatie met eigenaresse verliep enigszins moeizaam omdat ze alleen de Franse taal spreekt. Twee minpunten: 1. We moesten in tegenstelling tot de afspraak de borg contant betalen. 2. Op de dag van vertrek bij het afhalen van het beddengoed bleken we op een vieze matras met veel vlekken te hebben gelegen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub, hochwertige Ausstattung, französisches Flair, supernette Vermieter
Ich habe schon oft über Fewo gebucht. Das war das schönste Ferienhaus bisher. Wir sind herzlichst empfangen worden, lieben Dank, so kann ein Urlaub nur noch gelingen! Die Unterkunft hat uns auf Anhieb gefallen, große Terrasse mit Sitzmöbeln und Liegen. Das Haus war perfekt ausgestattet (Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Waschmaschinen- und Spülmaschinenmittel, Toaster, viel Geschirr, Schüsseln, Besteck, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschinen, Gewürze,…..), alles wahnsinnig sauber und die Lage top. Das typisch französische Haus ist sehr großzügig und bietet ausreichend Platz für eine große Familie. Wir können dieses Objekt nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Lage des Objekts ist einfach großartig, der Ort liegt perfekt vor den Tälern der Dordogne und der Vezere mit allen ihren Höhepunkten (Lascaux, Sarlat, Roque Saint Christoph, Bergerac, Domme…). Gleichzeitig sorgte die ruhige Umgebung für Entspannung. Ganz alleine und privat, niemand außen herum, Kühe grasen auf der Weide. Nicht weit entfernt ist das romantische Städtchen Le Bugue mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Vermieter sind wahnsinnig nett und halfen uns auch bei einer Autopanne. Sie holten uns ab und halfen uns die Kinder und Einkäufe ins Ferienhaus zu bringen. Außerdem gaben sie wertvolle Tipps über die schönsten Ausflüge der Region. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub!

Le gîte est parfait (équipement complet, qualité de la restauration de la maison, excellente composition des pièces, environnement idéal : calme total, grand terrain). Dommage que l'accueillante semble attacher plus d'importance au caractère lucratif de la gestion du gîte qu'à la qualité des relations humaines.
