A great place to stay
Our second visit to this lovely property, but hopefully not our last. Ticks all the boxes - within easy walking distance of a lovely beach, the bustling market and some super restaurants.

Lovely holiday
We had a really lovely holiday here. The house was the perfect size for us - a family of 4. The location was quiet and secluded, but only a very short walk from the beach one way, and the town the other. The pool was enjoyed by us all. We are seriously considering rebooking for next summer too.

Family holiday
The property is in a great location and laid out well for a family. It’s a 2 minute cycle ride to the beach one way or the shops the other. Generally it has all it needs. Downsides - it advertises 2 x Queen and 1 x Queen with a single. That single doesn’t exist which means 2 teenagers had to share a double bed, not the end of the world but the extra bed was one reason we chose this house. The second main reason was the pool. It had a great pool however it was too cold for the kids to use! So we spent a week with a house with a pool we couldn’t all use and I’m assuming paid a premium for it. The concierge company, ‘hoomy’ chose to ignore my requests to increase the temperature. All in all a good house but misdescription and lack of communication let it down.

Lovely holiday home that ticked all the boxes
One of the biggest impressions we received was that the pics on the website don't do the property justice because this is a really gorgeous home from home. It's spacious, suitably decorated, clean and very well equipped and the pool is wonderfully warm and welcoming, just the place to relax after a day exploring the island on it's many cycle paths - as a bonus you get a 15 per cent discount at the nearby friendly cycle shop. The local manager, Andre, and his wife, were very helpful, organising a taxi for our early departure on Saturday morning. The house, which is part of a small complex, is very private and a safe place to store hire bikes and to park cars but is only a five minute walk from the gorgeous beach at Plage des Gollandieres and about the same from the village centre where the covered market operates every day and where there are bars and restaurants as well as shops. Our favourite watering holes there were the KVE wine bar and the Bar-Tabac which both have a friendly welcome and we had a couple of nice meals locally too but for cooking at home the market and the Carrefour are ideal.

Perfekter Urlaub trotz Pandemie
Dieses Haus liegt ideal, dabei absolut ruhig, und ist hell, ansprechend und sehr funktional ausgestattet. Der schöne geheizte Pool lädt zum Baden und Chillen ein, selbst wenn es am Strand mal ein wenig windig sein sollte. Das Radwegenetz der Insel läuft quasi am Haus vorbei, so dass man das Auto nur für den Großeinkauf im Supermarkt braucht. Wegen der Corona-Unsicherheit hatten wir sehr kurzfristig gebucht, doch die Formalitäten ließen sich problemlos in kürzester Zeit abwickeln, und auch die Betreuung vor Ort lief gut und reibungslos. So haben wir zwei wunderschöne und entspannte Wochen verbracht und die traumhafte Weite des Atlantikstrandes gerade in Zeiten des 'social distancing' extrem genossen!

Superbe séjour dans cette belle maison
Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour. La maison est très bien agencée, très agréable à vivre. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine complètement privée, le temps magnifique en ce début septembre nous ayant régulièrement donné envie de piquer une petite tête. Tout était parfait et merci beaucoup pour les petits cadeaux d'accueil!

Propre, très bien équipée, très bien située, sans vis à vis, sécurisée, cette location est confortable et très agréable. Les chambres ont de grands placards, la salle est spacieuse, la cuisine est fonctionnelle et bien équipée, le garage est grand (il y a une table de ping pong), et il y a deux places de parking réservées. La terrasse et la piscine sont un vrai plaisir. Merci aussi pour la bouteille de champagne et les bonbons en de bienvenue. Je recommande cette location.

Très belle location.
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la maison de M.et Mme Duplaa, où nous avons pu apprécier les différentes prestations ( confort, espace , propreté et situation proche des commerces ...). Nous avons également aimé les attentions de bienvenue trouvées à notre arrivée ( douceurs variées...) ainsi que la réactivité des propriétaires , suite à un problème matériel. A wonderful relaxing villa
This was our forth visit to Ile de Re and it won't be our last! The island is so relaxing with a great holiday atmosphere and friendly locals. You really feel the stress disappear as you cross the bridge from La Rochelle. The villa was clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. A real home from home. Our boys had a wonderful time in the pool while we relaxed around it. The location of the the villa is great, being within short walking distance of Le Bois Plage centre with its fantastic daily market, boutiques, supermarket and bike hire. It was also within a 10 minute walk of the vast beach with its amazing waves for body boarding. I would highly recommend this villa and would love to stay again. Thank you!

Wir haben zwei herrliche Wochen in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Ausstattung, Lage, Sauberkeit, Betreuung alles Top. Comme à la maison
- Un environnement idéal (très calme en ce qui a concerné notre séjour), à proximité des plages à pied ou à vélo et de même pour le centre de bois plage: 5mn aller-retour pour aller chercher les croissants :-) - Une maison très agréable à vivre, bien agencée et équipée de tout le confort qui ravira même les plus pointilleux. - Le vrai plus est la piscine chauffée: un ravissement en fin de journée après des bains de mer revigorants. - Très agréables interlocuteurs pour l'accueil (et la fin de séjour) ainsi que pour l'entretien de la piscine. Il y avait longtemps que nous n'avions pas passé un séjour aussi serein sur l'île de Ré, et il est certain que nous reviendrons dans cette maison.

"Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette maison. Elle est très agréable car elle est très spacieuse, en particulier la salle à manger/salon. Elle est très propre et fort bien entretenue. Elle est également très bien équipée (batteries de cuisine et vaisselle exceptionnelles). Rien ou presque ne manque pour passer d’agréables de vacances. En plus, la maison est au calme entre le centre du Bois-Plage et les plages (environ 400-500 mètres), la situation est donc idéale. La toussaint est aussi une très bonne période pour découvrir cette belle ile. En plus, il y a beaucoup moins de monde que l’été et les prix sont bien moins élevés qu’à cette période. Nous avons eu de superbes journées ensoleillées. "
