We were worried about driving up to Montchavin but it was fine and we always found parking even in the mêlée of half-term week. "Wanted to try the 3 Valleys for our first ski trip to France and found this chalet on Vrbo for a March trip. We arrived Sunday, skied Monday to Friday, and left Saturday.Choosing where to stay in 3 Valleys was tricky, but I'd recommend Meribel—it's centrally located between Val Thorens and Courchevel, making day trips easy. I initially considered VT for its altitude but was glad we chose Meribel, as VT felt more crowded.The chalet is a 4-min walk to a free bus (5-min ride to Chaudanne lifts) or...

"Lovely chalet in the Morel area, two minutes from the Morel lift and just 10 minutes walk from Meribel. Has been beautifully re-furbished - lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. The lounge is very cosy with central open fire and kitchen has everything you need. Has parking too. Thanks Thibault (a great host!) for all your help and bringing us regular deliveries of logs"

"We had a wonderful week in Catherine and Gilles’s beautiful chalet. The house was spacious, very comfortable and fabulously well equipped. Our chef loved the kitchen. The cinema and swimming pool were perfect places for the children to relax after their exertions on the slopes. Sadly, at the very end of the season, the chalet was no longer ski-in, ski-out and some of the shops in the village were either closed or low on stock. However, we shall take away some extremely happy memories of our week...

"The property was actually much better than described and the photos do not doit justice! Communication was a bit slow via the VRBO app but we received all the info we needed. Linen and towels are not included. We were 3 families with 6 teenage kids and the house had plenty of space for us. The kitchen was well equipped. The village is small, about 10 mins walk to supermarket, boulangerie, bar, restaurant and nearest ski lift up to Vallandry (Lonzagne lift). We would definitely go back!!"
