"Such a lovely, if brief, stay! Our host Isabelle was incredibly kind and not only accommodated a last minute check in but early breakfast for us so we could hit the nearby Ogliss water park early. The fire is beautifully appointed, with vibrant art nouveau features which have been restored with loving care and vibrant flair. Ours was only a brief stopover but we’d love to come back for longer next time. Merci Isabelle and Marc!"

"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. I found this by chance when we needed to stop for a couple of nights. This was by far my favourite stop along the way. "The apartment was in a great location and provided (almost) everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The sheets were very old and faded and there were no towels (despite them being specifically mentioned on the apartment description). We were told by the owner that we were entitled to compensation for this since we had had to buy our own, but this has not happened. Adequate hotel for 1 night

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

Cheap and cheerful overnighter

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "

"It is a scam. I received confirmation email the day of my rental claiming i was expected there, but when i showed up I could not reach the landlord. I had to book another facility and spent 2 hours trying to solve the situation with expedia /vrbo ... "

Hôtel SABLES D'O et son restaurant "LE 16 BIS"

5/5 Excellent

"We spent three nights here - were very happy with the room’s comfort and cleanliness. Our view out the window was awesome, although we didn’t discover the outer motorized shade to block the street lamps until the second night! Great location with tons of restaurants and easy access to the beach and the delightful old town. "
