"This is a little gem if you don't mind driving to the major sites. Extremely clean, quiet, country location with a great view. 5 star customer service, the owner went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Great breakfast ready exactly when we ordered it. Bonus - fresh fruit and jam from the local garden. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, charming room decor. Secure with an automatic gate. Highly recommend it and plan to come back myself!"

"Quiet area. Easy access to St Lô. Old building. Polystyrene ceiling tiles in bedroom.Fire hazard? Very comfy bed. Very steep, dangerous stairs to room. Owner very nice but did ask for payment again even though we pre-paid. Basic continental breakfast but only 3 euros each.Overall, for a one night stopover after a 9 hour drive,it did the job."

"I travel a lot and have stayed in thousands of hotels, all very forgettable. You will never forget staying here though! Wonderful room with very nice bathroom on a memorable property. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephane and Karine are gracious hosts and I am thankful they have made their location available. Zero complaints and cannot recommend highly enough! The whole area is very beautiful so be sure to go for some walks in the country! "

For several years we have toured the Somme and Ypres but this year we wanted to tour the Normandy landing beaches. What a gem of a find for accommodation. Jenny and Chris live in a beautiful, characteristic farm house, it ouses the charm of its hosts. "This gite couldn’t have been more perfect for our week traveling around the department. We travelled in every direction and found every comfort when we got “home” whether we had to make a meal, warm up or chill out! M. Corbrion is a gracious and super knowledgeable host who shared his passion for the region in many ways up front and was available if needed. We could easily have had the same experience with the 2-4 others who were originally going to travel with us."
