"The staff were very friendly. There were a lot of security cameras which made me feel better about exterior doors on rooms. The beds were comfortable and clean. I liked that even though it’s an older hotel it had vinyl plank floors not worn out carpet. It had a mini fridge and small microwave. There was also a safe but we did not inquire about it. The furniture, other than the beds seemed old but were in good shape and clean. We would stay there again."

"Great place to stay at the end of Massachusettes Ave and about 10 minute easy drive to the KU campus. You can tell the hotel was an older one, but well maintained. Rooms were big and comfy beds. Highly recommend for families visitng Lawrence and KU"
