Cosy holiday home near the Causses du Quercy

Once a dilapidated barn, now a splendid detached holiday home. You have around the house a large lawn with a swing. The garden is slightly sloping to the rear. There is also a terrace and its magnificent view of the surroundings. This very soothing view will fill you with calm.

This holiday home is located on the edge of the very quiet village of Lavercantiere, right in the middle of the triangle Gourdon (18 km), Cazals (9 km) and Catus (10 km). These three towns have pleasant swimming lakes with beaches. A nice drive takes you to Les Arques (11 km), where the Zadkine museum is located. A grocery store, restaurant and public swimming pool are within walking distance from Lavercantiere. Prefer to take the bike? You have 8 available (5 for adults and 3 for children).

In Cahors (25 km), you can cross the Lot via the reinforced medieval bridge, or simply stroll through the old centre. You should also visit the old town of Gourdon, to experience the particularly French atmosphere there.

vriendelijk ontvangen. Heerlijk ruim huis met alles erop en eraan. Helaas was de airco kapot. Alleen in de woonkamer doet er nog 1 het. Volgens eigenaar al een tijdje het geval, maar omdat het een kostbare reparatie betreft, laat hij het even zo. Omgeving prima, heel rustig. Voor ieder wat wils en alles binnen redelijke afstand te rijden. zwembad (je) 5 min lopen zwemmeer op ong 20 min rijden (met auto) boodschappen en tanken 20 min skatebaan 10 min markten van 20 min tot 1 uur. grotten, 45 min. klimbos, 1 u enz

Was wat moeilijk te vinden, maar met dhr Besse gebeld en die kwam ons ophalen. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is zelfs een staafmixer aanwezig. Het huis is heel rustig gelegen en je hebt een mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras.

Een heel prettige vakantiewoning. De ontvangst was prettig, wij voelden ons zeer welkom. De woning is bijzonder compleet, in de keuken ontbreekt werkelijk niets, er is een wasmachine en in een van de badkamers is zelfs een fohn aanwezig. De aanwezigheid van de fietsen is zeer prettig, evenals de tafeltennisruimte. Hoewel wij prachtig weer hebben gehad was dit erg leuk voor de kinderen. Het uitzicht vanuit de woning is prachtig. De tuin geeft veel privacy en is veilig voor kleine kinderen. De omgeving is rustig, heerlijk als je op zoek bent naar rust en fijn wilt wandelen. De woning is gelegen op ongeveer 30 min. rijden van allerlei culturele uitstapjes. Denk hierbij aan Domme, Castelnaud (mooi kasteel), kanoën op de Dordogne etc. In Catus (10 min. rijden) is een leuk zwemmeer. Kortom een heerlijke week gehad, een aanrader!

2 weekjes zalige vakantie gehad in Lavercantiere! Prachtig huis met alles erop en eraan. Fenomenaal uitzicht! Rustig en zeer gezellig dorpje. Veel leuke plekjes in de streek om te bezoeken! Ook het zwembad in het dorp is een heel groot pluspunt! Eigenaar heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam!

Het huis was zeer schoon bij aankomst, goede ontvangst, aardige gastheer. Uitzicht geweldig en zeer rustig gelegen. Jammer dat de airco boven kapot ging, net toen het 32 graden was. Restaurantje/kiosk/bakker is 2 min. lopen. Bij restaurant is een openbaar zwembad, prima. Restaurant is aan te bevelen voor het 'menu du jour'. De meest bezienswaardige plaatsen zijn een stukje rijden, Cahors 30 min, Gourdon 20 min, Rocamaour 45 min. Tip is de markt op zondagmorgen in Cazals (15 min). Goede vakantie gehad in een prachtige omgeving.

Wij hebben 2 geweldige weken gehad in dit huisje. Mr Besse is een ontzettend aardige man, die je privacy hoog in het vaandel heeft. Het huisje is ruim, compleet en schoon! ook bij slecht weer is er een pingpong tafel. er staan 8 fietsen. In het kleine Lavercantiere kan je 6 dagen brood halen, alleen op zaterdag niet! let wel op dat je het wel elke dag besteld. Wifi werkt perfect, het is werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. een absolute aanrader!

Dit huis heeft alles, wat een fijne vakantie garandeert. Veel ruimte, super-schoon, rustige ligging, aardige ontvangst. Prima keuken en bedden, tafeltennis spullen in de schuur, goede fietsen klaar voor gebruik. In technisch opzicht (sanitair e.d.) is het huis zeer goed voorzien met o.a. airconditioning.
