It is essentially a motel room on the 3rd floor. Very bright room with a nice view down the valley. All very clean and simple, nice decor but basic.
The check in was terrible- just what you fear from air BNB style accommodation- no one at property, no message with room # and codes, no response to multiple emails. Visiting from Australia, we don’t have cell service, just internet so could email fom Expedia ap but not call. We ended up having to reconnect our Australian phone (only 1 of our networks has coverage in Lava), pay the daily fee and call manager. He answered on 2nd call and apologized profusely for having forgotten to send our welcome message and codes that morning.
We won’t be booking this type of an accommodation again on Expedia, managers on the other aps we use tend to be super responsive to messages which avoids the waiting around and worrying you were going to have to find a hotel and lose the $250 you’d paid.
