Angileen's Place at Canyon Creek - A Cabin Getaway Touched by Nature!

We are thrilled to announce that our newly completed sledding hills are now available for wintertime bookings, so pack your sleds! (Winter Time)
Featuring a high-quality, 1600 sq. ft spacious two-level cabin with full service kitchen. Comfortably sleeps 10 guests (2 BR, 2BA). We also have a double-size blow-up mattress and a single rollaway which can be put anywhere - even on our fabulous deck! - extending the number of guests we can accommodate to twelve when you include the downstairs couch! Tents in summer are welcome.

Located 4 miles from Lava Hot Springs, on 40 secluded hillside acres, this cabin boasts spectacular views from the wrap-around deck, or from the inexpressible comfort of our cozy fireplace and large scenic windows. Enjoy your own private forest, charming babbling creek, adventurous hiking trails, and campfire memories. Abundant bird and wildlife including moose and deer share this nature’s paradise. An unforgettable experience in all seasons.

Snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, and an awesome sledding hill in winter are complimented by the year-round attractions of nearby Lava Hot Springs, including the world-famous hot baths, swimming pool, and the best tubing river in America.

From the township of Lava Hot Springs, head west on Main Street, turn left on 4th Avenue (note: 4th Avenue becomes Dempsey Creek Road). Continue towards the golf course, turning left to continue following Dempsey Creek Road. Proceed to Smith Canyon Road (less than one mile). Turn right onto Smith Canyon Road and proceed 0.4 miles to the cabin located on the left.

Away from town enough to enjoy solitude with mountains and beautiful scenery but close enough to drive into town for festivities, dining, entertainment etc. Wonderful cabin with beautiful deck to enjoy.

The house was great and private with no other houses nearby. It was very well maintained and clean and had everything you needed. The area is quite beautiful and actually snowed while we were up in the mountains. Wonderful trip and a lot of things to do in the area.

Great place. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Many morning and evening hours spent sitting on porch watching the wildlife. Close enough to run into lava hot springs for other activities. We all loved the place and already making plans to stay here again next year.

Great place for birdwatchers
My husband and I rented this property for a spring migration birdwatching trip. The cabin is very comfortable and you can birdwatch from the deck while you enjoy beautiful scenery. We are hoping to return again in the future. We definity recommend this cabin. Donna

If you want peaceful.. THIS is the place!
We had a wonderful, relaxing time. What a beautiful location! Every single thing we could have wanted this place delivered. The owner called me prior to us showing up & was so pleasant. The basement was a bit cold but once we had the heater going it warmed up fine. We will be staying here again! We all feel relaxed and refreshed after our weekend. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Beautiful new family vacation home with amazing views
It's a beautiful new family vacation home with amazing views, scenery, wildlife and open land with trails surrounding the home in which we loved riding our ATV's. It's easy to locate, a short distance into town and very private. There are only two bedrooms in which we had to be creative with sleeping arrangements. But overall, we loved our stay and had a lot of fun. We will be back again......

Cozy and very nice!
Geoffrey and Angileen were more than accommodating and a pleasure to work with. There were quick to respond to any questions I had. We stayed over a weekend to record drums, bass, and guitar for our album. The cabin was clean and cozy. I really appreciated the amenities such as the full kitchen, grill, and plentiful seating. The place also had cleaning supplies available which made our stay very easy. Most excellent, 10/10, would cabin again. Cheers, Rob

A beautiful and comfortable home set in natural beauty but accessible to enjoyment for all ages
We had a wonderful experience staying at Geoff and Angeline's beuatiful property in Lava Hot Springs. The home was thoughtfully designed and had everything we could possibly have needed. The location is amazing--close to nature with deer and antelope visiting the beautiful grassy meadow below the deck but easy access to Lava Hot Springs. Geoff and Angileen are wonderful hosts. We particular enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to get to know them. The home is on two levels with everything we needed easy to find and use. Lava Hot Springs and the surrounding areas had things to do for all of us--from 5 years old to mature adults but did not have the crush of Yellowstone in the summer. Simply put--- this was a five star experience for us at every level. We recommend it you with our highest enthusiasm.

Loved it!
Our family had a great time staying here. We had a large group and there were plenty of towels and dishes. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing deer every day and our kids loved exploring the area around the cabin. We loved the little creek that flows close by. We were excited to find puzzles and games since those are some our favorite things to do as a family. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen and found all the utensils and cookware we needed. The only thing we wish was different was the bedroom downstairs. The bunk bed and the door squeak so if anyone has to get up in the night everyone in the bedroom wakes up. But it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall we loved it and would recommend it to others.

Great place for a weekend getaway from it all. The TVs were all a bit small, so we brought a projector to play some games and watch a movie. The place is amazing though and very secluded
