"This property was exactly what I needed. A nice comfortable bed, mostly quiet, and price was good. Outside traffic noise was a little annoying, but I had earbuds and played music. Traffic calmed down at a reasonable hour (about 8ish) so it was fine. Young man who checked me in was very kind and helpful. The motel is dated, yet charming. I loved the colors and comfort of room. "First off, the owner is a scam artist and tried to get me to pay for a room that I already paid for. Secondly the room was musty and the entire property is in serious need of updating. The mattress was hard as a rock, the blankets had tears in them, the carpet was badly stained and crusty in some spots and the trash cans in the room already trash in them before we got there.... The motel appeared to have several "extended stay" residents who were nothing but a nuisance. I would not recommend...

"Overall, the stay was pretty good. The house was well kept and beautiful. I just wish the owner was a bit more responsive because the heat in the house was not consistent. It was 20 degrees outside and no matter what you changed the thermostat to, the top floor felt like a sauna and the bottom floor was freezing. When we were sleeping, we had to open the windows of the bedrooms to not get smothered by heat, and it was specifically unbearable in my case being on the top bunk, near the ceiling...
