"This is a lovely place, but I can't give it a great review because on the day we checked-in no one was available at the hotel to answer the phone. Answering the phone when you have guest traveling from out of country, and to a very remote location is standard basic custom service. For whatever reason we could not find our email confirmation the day we were scheduled to arrive and we called and called for 5 hours straight on a Saturday between 12noon-5pm and no one answered the phone. "Casa Mango is both a lovely property and a beautiful house. The house is extremely well equipped and has a very nicely appointed kitchen w 6 burner gas range, quality pots and pans and service for 8 with a gorgeous dining room table. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the mattresses were comfortable. The pool is spotless but could use a few more chairs and maybe a shade umbrella. The outdoor seating areas are first class.All in all a great place to stay."

"My wife and I had an incredible stay here. The place was spacious and well appointed. We made all our meals and enjoyed while watching the moneys play in the trees above. As many others have mentioned the drive in is part of the adventure and you'll want a high clearance 4x4. The beach is a short walk away and also full of wildlife. The Kig Luis waterfall is well worth the hike. Isaac and his wife were awesome and very responsive. Love this place and Costa Rica!"
