"We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

"A fabulous, quirky house spread over many levels with all the mod cons ensured a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! We loved our stay and meeting our lovely, friendly and helpful host."

"The property was damp and not clean to sleep in with the children’s bed being covered in dust when weight was put onto it. Furniture in the bedroom was green with mold spores. We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. "The property was stunning and exceed expectations from the listing. The location is quite and secluded but not to far from towns. The pool was beautiful to relax around. "We stayed at the house for 2 weeks in Aug 24. House was exactly as advertised. Check in process was easy and the owner lives next door and was happy to assist with any issues. He also visited the property early each morning to clean the pool. The location is quite remote but it's very peaceful and has lovely views over the neighbouring vineyards. If you want a quiet and peaceful break deep in the Ardeche then we highly recommend"
