As you arrive at the property you will be greeted by a lush green entry way leading to the front door. Whilst the property does enjoy an elevated position once entering at street level you will be greeted to the most amazing views over kanamaluka/Tamar River and only have 3 steps down to the main living area.
Watch yachts bobbing across the river as the sky changes hue from this spectacular river retreat. Equally designed for families or couples, it combines spacious, contemporary interiors with a covered all-weather terrace.
Dine while taking in the view, choosing from the covered balcony or a large table beside the kitchen. Stylishly appointed, the kitchen centres around an island bench with plenty of space to prepare meals, socialise or take things slow up at the breakfast bar.
In the living room, guests can get cosy in front of the smart TV or relax in the reading nook over a good book.
A seperate rumpus room is perfect for the kids to play in or watch movies on the second smart TV.
Those on a working holiday can make use of a dedicated study space with a proper desk and chair.
Each of the three bedrooms has been beautifully designed to encourage a good night’s sleep. The sumptuous master highlights a queen-sized bed, contemporary ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a walk-in wardrobe for storing your belongings and the most amazing free-standing bath.
Bedrooms two and three each boast spectacular views straight from their one queen-sized and one double-sized beds.
After a long day relax in the main living room or sit back in the seperate media room watching movies or binge watch your favourite show.
Refresh within the main bathroom with shower and vanity.
Enjoy the convenience of internal laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer.
Off-street parking is provided for two cars. The garage is private and not available to guests.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourself. Please make yourself at home!

I'm not always able to personally check the house before your arrival - I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore I have been let down in any way by the presentation of River Haven.
All the attractions of Launceston are within easy reach, including Cataract Gorge, The Queen Victoria Museum and Gallery, and the vibrant Harvest Community Farmers' Market, held on Saturdays.
Launceston is the gateway to the stunning wine trails of the Tamar Valley, and around two hours' drive from Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park – home to the world-famous Overland Track.
We do recommend you have a hire car as public transport is not that frequent or easy to access.
Airport: Approximately 20 minutes drive to the airport.
Public Transport: A short 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop.

Kindly observe the 10 am check-out time so our cleaners have enough time to thoroughly and safely prepare the space for the next guest in line with Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning standards.
Please leave the home neat & tidy. We may need to charge guests for additional housekeeping time if our team is required to stay longer.
If smoking occurs in the property, we will have to charge guests to have the furnishings and carpet deodorised.
Please try not to misplace keys or fobs; any replacement fees will need to be passed onto our guests.
