Nestled behind a renovated warehouse in Launceston's CBD you'll find a cosy (30 sqm) and comfortable hideaway in the heart of an area increasingly big on choice. Drop your bag and head to one of the restaurants, craft breweries, bakeries, and bars - all within a short walk. Just a 15-minute walk away is Launceston's own piece of wilderness, the Cataract Gorge. Explore, swim, or ride the chairlift over a massive river basin. Also within walking distance are UTAS stadium, theatres, city park, Junction Festival, and dAda mUse, a surrealist art museum home to Australia's largest collection of Salvador Dali works on paper. Head back to the apartment to rest with a book and cuppa soaking up the history of the space, once owned in the 1800s by a bookbinder with a love for the theatre.
