Situated beautifully high up with a view of the South Esk River, and overlooking Meander Valley Road bridge, this detached bright and sunny cottage is located within the beautiful surrounds of Rutherglen Village.

"Annie's" has a beautiful sunny aspect and rural views in a peaceful and quiet setting. With open carport, small garden and lovely big deck overlooking the river, "Annie's" is ready and waiting for you to relax and enjoy!

Located across the road from the historic and picturesque Entally Estate and vineyard, just 12 minutes from Launceston CBD with city bus service.

Enjoy a walk out the back gate and down to the river, abundant with wildlife & birds, even a resident platyplus if you're lucky! On dusk, enjoy feeding our resident wallabies, often with joeys still in their pouch.

Situated close to the picnic areas and walking tracks of Hadspen and Entally House, and nearby local IGA supermarket/takeaways & fuel outlet, post office, newsagent, bottle shop & beauty salon.

From the moment we booked, Annie and Ross were amazing hosts. They were in contact with us prior to our stay and during, to make sure everything was ok, if there was anything we needed etc. The cottage is beautiful, clean, warm and cosy, with a stunning view just to add to the stay. There is nothing negative to say about the cottage or hosts, we couldn't recommend this any higher. We will definitely be back.

The home is clean, cosy and equipped with everything you could need to self cater. Lots of lovely touches. The hosts are super helpful and hospitable. They shared great travel tips and local knowledge. The lovely walk to the river enabled us to see a platypus and other local wildlife

Annie's Cottage was our favourite accommodation during our week long stay in Tasmania. Everything you need is provided in the Cottage. The beds were very comfy, the pantry was well stocked and Ross even had the house warmed for us before our arrival. The beautiful short private walk to the river allowed us to see a range of wildlife. Both Ross and Annie were very helpful with local knowledge and so friendly. I will definitely be recommending Annie's Cottage to any of my friends visiting Tasmania.

Fantastic place
We stayed at Annie's place on our first trip to Tasmania. Right from the start Annie and Ross were fantastic communicators and answered all our questions as well as sharing with us a map of how to get to the place that actually made sense! They were very friendly, helpful and respectful and my wife and I loved our stay there very much. The place was neat and tidy, very comfortable with magnificent views. We cannot rate Annies place highly enough

Home away from home... Amazing little fully furnished 2 bedroom house with everything you need and more, surrounded by beautiful gardens, river and wildlife. Hosts Annie and Ross are super friendly, helpful and lovely people with in depth local knowledge. I enjoyed every bit of our stay and rate this over most of the 2 bedroom serviced apartments. Highly recommend !!

Nice House with garden
We were two adults from Germany. We had a good time here. The house offered everything you need and was perfectly clean. Also it was like described. At the river just outside the backdoor we saw plenty wildlife. Would come back here. Annie and Ross where also very helpful and gave us very good recommendations for the area. A wonderful quiet relaxing and reflective stay in a beautiful setting. A drink on the verandah enjoying the garden and bird life was a highlight. ‘Annie’s’ is spotless, the kitchen very well equipped and includes basic supplies plus!
