"We found the house easily and it was exactly as described - a lovely house and pool in well tended private gardens. Philippe was there to welcome us and although he doesn't speak much English and I don't speak much French, he explained all that we needed to know without too much difficulty. The house is very comfortable with a very well equipped modern kitchen and a wide array of garden furniture to suit all requirements. There was also a covered outdoor dining area if we wanted to eat outside....

"House was clean and well equipped. Pool and hot tub great . Beds comfy. Only issue was anyone walking upstairs was very loud downstairs..so overnight quite disturbing to everyone. There was no check in or details left . The person of contact never appeared and we had to ring round to get the key . Pool man was brilliant though and came out as required.person of contact"

"Das Objekt hat praktisch alles gehalten was versprochen wurde. Sehr angenehmer Kontakt und sauberes Haus. Einziger Nachteil: man sollte etwas resistent gegen Hundegebell sein. Es hat in der Nachbarschaft viele Hunde und die hört man immer mal wieder. Aber sonst sehr ruhig mit viel Privatshäre"

"We had an amazing 3 weeks here in August/September. The house is well equipped, clean, comfortable with an amazing garden and views from all of the terraces. There of a number of spaces outside were you can eat and socialise and enjoy the views and listening to the chiming of the church bell. Great areas to visit too, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne and Gruissan among them. Thoroughly enjoyed, very relaxing and highly recommended. "

"The property was well presented, as described. Plenty of equipment for cooling and catering. The house was very private, comfortable, secluded and peaceful. Just what we hoped for. 10-15 mins drive to Olonzac where we could get everything we needed; local people friendly, helpful and kind. Would have non hesitation returning - one day, hopefully."

"The Good Life was perfect. It is exactly as it looks in the photos. We enjoyed the well-appointed interior and sat outside in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine after our excursions to neighbouring towns and villages. BTW, the location is excellent for exploring the area. Rieux Minervois is a small town with a great boulangerie down the road (walking distance), good Italian restaurant across the road, and a local wine co-op. There's also a small market on Saturdays. We weren't sure about...
