We didn’t sleep for 3 nights due to their hospitality workers protesters at the hotel yelling through megaphones. Or, pre-recorded, running on loop through speakers all night (every night). Not only that, I drank 1 beer from the mini fridge. Because I moved around drinks to see what kind they were and they are on sensors…..they tried to tell me I drank it all and then some. They wanted to charge me $310 for consuming 1 beer from the fridge. I got a warning “this time” from a rude receptionist. Also, snuck in a $54/daily charge for resort fee at the end. What??? I liked our room, parking garage, and the casino, but wouldn’t stay here again.

Room service is terrible. Our bedsheet on day 3 was dirty. There’s no phone in the room to call room service. Of 3 days, only first day out towels were replaced. They took away all the face towels and other small towels second day with no clear reason. Property is good and well maintained. Staff was courteous. I’d not come back again.

Very nice hotel that’s off the strip. Exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautiful, modern and beds were very comfortable. Wish they had a kettle in the room and refrigerator to store food. Would stay here again in the future.

The property is nice, near the strip but far enough away to not be in the mix. Parking was free and great. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was welcoming and accommodating. There were lots of employees on strike and were yelling at us guests as we came in and out of the parking garage. Outside of that our stay was enjoyable.

During our stay we were not notified of the protesters that were staked in front of the hotel. On our first night’s stay, we decided to walk across the street to get food, and we were heckled by said protesters. They were repeatedly yelling in our faces and screaming with megaphones as we walked away. If we had been made aware of these conditions, we would have stayed elsewhere. Totally unprofessional on the hotel’s part for not notifying guests prior to their arrival. No compensation for the situation was offered or issued. In fact, we had inquired additional fees that I was under the impression were included when booking through Expedia.

The hotel looks quite dated, though the rooms were great and freshly renovated. However, my low rating is due to a strike of hotel employees near the building. They were shouting all night long with megaphones, and even though we stayed on the 21st floor, it was extremely noisy, and we couldn’t sleep

Wow. What a disappointing stay. We have stayed before but wont be back. We "upgraded" our room. When we got there - the fridge was full of open tequila drinks and reeked. There was BLOOD on the bathroom wall. Ibcalled repeatedly for 2 days and nobody came to clean it - i eventually did it myself. No restaurants were open except the steak place which was so overrated and so expensive. Room service for breakfast was cold, hashbrowns were burnt and covered up as if we wouldnt taste it, my bagel was like rubber! It was just dirty overall. The slots werent hitting at all, not even once. Theyvwere on stroke and blaring music outside to try and dull the protesters but just nade everything worse. Trash all over the grounds. Broken glass too! Just an overall crap experience for New Year's Eve and a friends wedding. Never again. If I could give a ZERO stars I would.

I’ve always heard about Virgin hotels but never had to chance to stay in one of them until now. The property has some good dining options and bars with Funny Library Coffee Shop being my favorite one (the Mexican Hot Chocolate was great). I loved everything about the room, clean, spacious with a great design. This might sound silly but I loved the full size amenity bottles in the shower, which also smelled great. The staff was great, specially Lala who did our check in and mentioned the available upgrades we had and put us on a high floor. The only thing that caught me by surprise was the deposit at check in but that was my mistake for not reading, however I got it back right after checking out. This was a short trip but I’m looking forward to come back.
