We splurged for a lake view room and that was worth it for the view. Did not eat here as it was recommended to us to leave the property and eat in Boulder City. The general store was great! We stayed here as a stop between Vegas and Joshua tree due to flight timing, and got to tour the Hoover Dam, which was cool!

The rooms were outdated and dirty. Not like the pictures at all. The shower handle had bolts falling off. The walls were disgusting and had old blood smeared on them.

It's a bit old and a bit dated, but has lots of charm and lovely, friendly staff. Far preferable to the nasty noisy dirty older casinos in Vegas, and very easy to get in and out of the city. Food options are a little limited but not terrible, and the cafe is open 24/7. I'll never understand why US hotels don't have a kettle, but that aside this is a decent place that feels like it's still in the 1950s, but not in a bad way.

I really appreciated the service man who unplugged my toilet after my son plugged it. Dianna the General Store where I got coffee was very warm and welcoming to my and my two teenage sons. They both made my stay amazing.

Our room in the tower with a lake view was HUGE! All was very clean and comfortable, including the mattress. As is typical for casinos, the ground level/lobby/casino smelled strongly of smoke, but the room and hallways did not. We received vouchers for 2 coffee's downstairs, but would have preferred a coffee maker in the room. Maybe it was due to it being mid-week in winter, it was very quiet everywhere. Location was perfect for being at the dam in time for an early tour. You will have to go off-property for a full meal, but there was bar food available. Price was a good value. Despite not being gamblers, we would stay here again.

The property was okay, nothing too rave about. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing around to go to; have to drive to find a restaurant, etc. I did have an issue and the staff was very helpful and it was resolved.

I loved the view of Lake Mead and the easy access to the gorgeous historic rail trail for fabulous walks, Staff was quite friendly. The room was large and clean. Otherwise it felt a little dated and I would have liked more outlets for charging electronics in the room.
