Near the beach.
The location is excellent. The beach is a straight 5 minute walk away. The bed was OK with a thin blanket supplied. I wouldn't call the bedding appropriate as I created my own pillow with my clothing. I've never seen such a flat pillow. There is a rooftop terrace with some chairs to catch a few rays of sun. The room is very basic which is reflected in the price.

We paid £30/n for a twin room with en-suite. We got towels, soap and a TV, the beds were surprisingly really comfy, we were warm and made good use of the kettle and microwave. The room was clean, the bedding was clean, the bathroom was clean. It was a bit rundown but the price reflected that. The only thing I’d say is that the kitchen equipment was in a fairly untidy area - it would probably have been better having a decent kitchen area on the terrace. The man who greeted us told us we could borrow beach towels too if we needed them (we didn’t) which helps if you’re travelling light. Honestly can’t complain and I’d happily return.

Ok for short stay in a very convenient location
Hostel staff was very nice and helpful. Clean towel on demand. Hostel itself lies between 2 busy and noisy roads, if you have a problem sleeping - better look elsewhere. Facilities like kettle available but you can only boil 1 cup at once, which makes life a little hard. Size of the room and bathroom is good. Everything else it's a stopgap. Shower curtain hanging on a makeshift assembly. missing hooks. Broken chair, dripping toilet water. Bed and mattress too soft for two people and sinking in. Bedding very used - although clean. Thin doors don't provide intimacy, and you can hear the neighbors in their rooms very often. Ok for few days stay but a week starts getting tiring.

7 Soles in Las Palmas
7 Soles is a small simple hotel, but we had a lovely stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but not everyone speaks English. Even if we didn't always have a common language, they did their best to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We had a spacious room on the top floor. We didn't have a balcony, but there was a large sunny roof terrace next to our room. The hotel is situated just a couple of blocks away from the Las Canteras beach and it's a walking distance to the Santa Catalina bus station (easy access from the airport). There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and small shops in the neighbourhood and a supermarket for groceries just around the corner. Only thing that we were missing was a fridge in the room. If you don't expect your hotel to be fancy, 7 Soles is good value for the price!

L’accueil était super, le réceptionniste était très accueillant, souriant, nous avons apprécié cela. En revanche, la salle de bain (rideau de douche, lunette des toilettes) n’était pas propre.. nous avons vu deux cafards de la taille d’un pouce.. c’est le côté négatif de ces deux nuits. Les draps sentaient bons mais ils étaient assez humides, très étrange. Pour passer quelques jours avec un petit budget c’est « passable » si vous n’avez pas peur de tomber sur des cafards et de sentir des odeurs d’excréments et de cigarette… c’est vraiment dommage car le réceptionniste est très professionnel et donne envie d’y rester mais l’hygiène n’est pas négociable.
