"My family and I celebrated my birthday by spending time at Sunset beach. The home is in a great location with stunning views and has many amenities including a nice hot tub. My granddaughter loved staying with her parents and having a bed above them.We struggled a bit to warm up the home, especially one of the bedrooms that has no heater. The owner provides lots of blankets to remedy this somewhat.Overall we had a fun weekend and enjoyed staying in this beach home."

"We really enjoyed staying at this property. The balcony is gigantic and has wonderful views of the river. The home itself is much larger than it appears in the pictures. The bedrooms are huge, everything is perfectly clean, kitchen is well stocked with equipment, and the furniture (including the beds) is very comfortable. The owner was very accessible and responded immediately to any question we had. My only slight complaint is the description that it is "5 houses from the boardwalk" is a little...

"We had an incredible time during our visit! The house was in a beautiful and safe neighborhood, close to the beach, and restaurants/ coffee/ the boardwalk. Lots of street parking. The house was very clean, well stocked, and well set up to spend lots of time together with family or friends. The only issue we had was that the keys were not inside the lockbox at check in, but there were alternate ways to get inside the house - all listed in the check in instructions - and the property manager was...

"This house is so nice! Everything you need in it as well! The back deck and hot tub are so welcoming and the fire pit was amazing! Quiet neighborhood yet close to beach and a few restaurants making for a perfect location. Owner very nice as well! I can’t wait to rent this place again! "

"The views are wonderful! As stated, the home is only a few seconds from the beach. We have stayed in this area previously and this home has been the best. There are several upgrades which were greatly appreciated. Most important for me was Starlink WiFi! While I don't know much about Lululemon Studio / Mirror, our daughter was very excited and had a wonderful workout. When returning to the Monterey area, this is certainly a home we will return to! "

Due to the recent storms, there has been construction out front for our past two stays, but our stays were still great and the construction actually made the street more quiet. "This is a great location, walking distance from Nisene Marks Park (redwoods) and the Aptos Village with nice market and restaurants. Beautiful Sea Cliff Beach is a longer walk, or 5 minute drive. The back deck looks over forest and feels secluded and there are lots of big windows looking out that direction too. The hosts live on the property, which turned out fine. They were very helpful when we had a few small requests. The front of the property is tighter than it appears in the listing photo....

"We loved the beach cottage near the beach. The owner was responsive to our questions, and we had great weather especially for January. The location was good as it was close to Santa Cruz and about a 40 minute drive to Monterey. We'll stay here again if we're in the area!"

"Sanctuary is one of my favorite resorts, not just b/c of the beauty of the hotel and the uniqueness of lodging on the beach, but because Guest Services is 10/10! From check-in, room service, the Salt Wood restaurant, to special requests, the staff is outstanding and provides an amazing experience. "

"Overall the stay was great everyone was extremely friendly and helpful even the secuirty gaurds. Veiw from the room/balcony is amazing, i stayed on the 7th floor. Only minor thing i didnt like was that parking was across the street. Not a big deal at all for us we didnt use our car as everything we did was within walking distance. Crossing the street here though was very easy they have a crosswalk right there with no wait time. They do have a vallet service for 5 more dollars than self parking. Highly recommend this place."

"The rooms are a little old, but overall clean staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s about a five minute walk to the beach, which was nice. The location is convenient as you have shopping centers gas stations, and coffee shops pretty close by."

"Beach Street Inn is the Goldilocks Inn for Santa Cruz. Not too far from the boardwalk or the wharf. Not too expensive and not too average. Our 2nd stay within the past month and a half, they have it dialed in with clean rooms, friendly staff ans many other benefits. Highly recommend!"
