"Lovely old property right on the walls of the Mezquita. Room was very clean, huge for a standard with a large sofa as well as a medium sized double (not a 6' wide but plenty big enough), bathroom very clean. Good breakfast buffet in basement. Took off one star as could not get the A/C to make any difference, room very hot. Luckily in February it was a minor annoyance, but because the windows open onto the covered patio could be terrible in summer! Staff very welcoming and storage for luggage...

It was very noisy as people congregated and visited there late at night. The microwave and vending machine were right outside our door."

However, once we checked in, the room was just fine for the price, and the location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. Note: there is NO parking anywhere nearby. Even driving to the hostel to drop off bags is difficult, since the streets are mostly 2-2.5m wide, and twisty. But if you arrive by mass...

"Lovely gardens with water feature and pool. Our balcony gave us a terrific view out across Cordoba. The hotel is in the edge of the city but a ten minute taxi ride from the centre. It has a quiet relaxed feel. It has its own vegetable garden within the grounds, tennis courts in the grounds and a golf range and pitch and put course adjacent. "
