"I was extremely pleased with hotel de college! Beautiful hotel, well appointed room, very happy with the thermal baths right next door. My room also had a mini kitchen which was fantastic as a great to go kitchen basically across the street(and I was by myself doing the gr 65). I hate hotels who don't let you open the windows so this was also a plus. Best night of my trip so far!"

The facilities at the property were outstanding - fabulous heated swimming pool; well equipped games room; comfortable, spacious, well appointed accommodation; provision of bicycles and other sports equipment; large garden set in a peaceful, rural, location. "We stayed at Cedric's property for three weeks, with friends coming to visit during that period. The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are large and cool during the night which was important for us - we prefer to sleep cold. Cedric was really helpful and suggested great local markets and restaurants. We realised (only after booking) that there are also michelin starred restaurants nearby, should you wish to dine out in those sort of places too. The local markets were really excellent and we found ourselves making good use of the kitchen. The furthest we really had to travel was a 20 min drive and that was entirely optional. The pool really made the experience for us; it's really relaxing to hang out there in the middle of the countryside. It's very private and you do feel like you can switch off. The place was clean (we also asked to have a cleaner midway through our stay). "

"I stayed here because there was a pool. When I arrived about 8 or 9pm there was a self-check-in at the gate. I was not sent a code, but a friend who spoke French called and got it for me. It was not sent through Hotels.com or by email. Without calling I would have not been able to stay here at all and would have been far from Agen with no room. It is VERY FAR from Agen, not in Agen as listed on the hotels.com site. The pool was covered for the night and opened at 8am the next morning. Check-out was at 10. There is no ice machine, no refrigerator, no hotel staff. I got up at 8 to use the pool for an hour. When I checked out the hotel front desk person called a cab for me. It was about 30 euro to get back to Agen. This is the only person I spoke to during my entire stay and she was lovely and helpful and understanding of my baby French as I counted on my fingers to tell her my room number. If you aren't prepared for this odd system, you will not be able to check-in if you arrive late. There is an elevator. There is no communication with guests. Pool is very small and was being cleaned during the one hour I was able to use it during my stay. I swam anyway, but the vacuum was underfoot and would not have been safe for children to swim."

"Charming hotel but definitely not for the English speaking traveler. Hotel staff (the night we checked in) was unable/unwilling to assist us in securing a taxi, so we ended up leaving after just one (out of our non-refundable two!) night. Overall, disappointed with our experience. "
