Our 16th century castle is situated in its own 3 acres of grounds bringing peace and tranquillity to your stay. The castle is currently being lovingly restored by its English owners and was previously run as a B&B. You can now enjoy exclusive use of the entire Chateau, Gite grounds and pool and enjoy its renovated spaces whilst dreaming of your own creations in its yet untouched areas. A truly magical space for your whole family to enjoy.
The space
The Chateau can sleep up to 16 People and the self contained Gite up to 6.
There are 5 rooms on the first floor all with private Ensuite shower rooms.
Bedroom 1,2 and 3 are double rooms.
Bedroom 4 is a large King-size room and a=often used for parents with baby's and a cot is available for your use.
Bedroom 5 is a King-size room and also has 2x Single beds. This is often used as family room.
Bedrooms 6 and 7 are a Double and a King-size bed on the ground floor and DO NOT have private bathrooms. these rooms have NOT been renovated but are comfortable rooms. Bedroom 7 is a large turret room with the original floral wallpaper. There is a WC on the ground floor to serve these rooms.
Bedrooms 8 and 9 are both in the Gite and both have double beds.
The gite lounge also has a double sofa bed usually used by younger members of families staying here.
The Gite has a shared Bathroom, Kitchen and lounge area.
The communal spaces comprise of;
A large Kitchen with two ovens, hobs, fridges and lots of amenities. The kitchen is set up to cater for large groups.
A dining room capable of seating 20+ and features a magnificent handmade unique chandelier.
The salon can seat 20 and is the perfect space for evening socialising and playing games.
There is a terrace with seating for around 10 people and is lovely for an after dinner drink whilst watching the sun set.
The Pool has 10 sunbeds and 5 sunshades so larger groups may need to have a rota. :) The pool is heated by the sun and is a constant depth of around 1.6M.
The grounds are mostly grass and sometimes there are cows in the neighbouring field who like to watch bathers over the fence.
Guest access
You are welcome to use all the renovated spaces but restrictions will be placed on the areas which are not yet renovated for safety reasons.
