Loved everything
We had a wonderful stay here! I will say that the internet was very weak and spotty, so the tv never really picked up a signal. HOWEVER, that was a blessing in disguise for us! It forced our children to go outside and be kids. We played games together, went on hikes up the hill to see the cows and gorgeous views, caught firefly’s, made smores by the fire pit, read books and spent quality time together…it was perfect! My kids needed a device detox anyway! The upstairs shower does make a screaming noise so my children were afraid to use it, but it was fine. My only suggestion would be to add a hammock on the porch, I could have spent all day and night in that! We didn’t want to leave! Thankyou for sharing your cabin with us. We’ll definitely return!

While we spent all day Saturday, the 15th, at the Festival at Grayson Highlands State Park, we greatly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Nice kitchen for breadfasts and dinners. We enjoyed the porches and eating outdoors. Lots of bird activity. Nice quiet spot.

This was our third stay. It’s a great cabin just secluded enough. Owners are excellent and checked in on us after a big storm went through the area. Highly recommend.

Perfectly peaceful and pristine
Three girlfriends and I stayed here for a weekend in late March. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed—a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, lots of firewood, and four separate beds. We enjoyed the remarkably quiet and beautiful environs. The hot tub felt amazing. We felt rejuvenated at the end of our stay. I’d love to return for another peaceful get away.

Exactly what we needed…
Beautiful home, I think prettier in person. Home was stocked with everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic, home was very private and clean. Would definitely recommend to someone who wants to unplug and relax in the middle of nowhere! Awesome weekend away that was much needed.

Beautiful place, cozy and nice! Clean and well stocked. One note would be please provide tissues and a nonstick pan that you can cook eggs in, that would have been nice. Everything else perfect!!

Great secluded cabin
We spent 3 days at this cabin with our son and grandson. Enjoyed relaxing on the porch and also enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin is nicely furnished with all the amenities that anyone would want for a stay. Climbed the hill for viewing the sunset but it was cloudy that evening. Also enjoyed a couple of the local restaurant and went hiking at Grayson Highlands State Park

Fun week
Spent a whole week. The house is beautiful, all photos accurate. Well designed and spacious. When at the house spent most of our time on back deck watching the cows or using the hot tub. Never turned the tv on. Bed was comfortable, lines and towels nice quality. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Great stay at an awesome property
This was our second time at this property. Just as nice as the first!! Secluded and safe location in a working farm. We were only interrupted by deer, rabbits and birds. Well stocked cabin, and only a short drive to a small town. Lots of hiking nearby at Greyson Highlands or Mt Jefferson State Park or on the hill behind the cabin. Owner is very prompt with answering any questions you may have. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location and immaculate property!
We came for the weekend to run the Greyson highlands 1/2 marathon. The property was not just exceptionally clean, but beautiful. The hot run was clean and just what we needed after the race. The beds were so comfortable and the quality of the linens was top notch. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great time to be alone with family to have good chats. No traffic, noise, congestion of the town. Just pasture, some livestock here and there, beautiful mountain land (which is one reason I live here).

Cozy House in the Mountains
We had a great stay. Everything was very clean and it was nice to have some games to play with the kids. The view is spectacular and my children loved running around on the deck and in the front yard. We enjoyed a quiet New Year’s Eve in the hot tub after our kids went to bed and loved reading by the fireplace. Very secluded but still easy to find.

Simply the best!
I cannot say ENOUGH great things about this property, and how great the host is. House just blows me away when we visit - killer hot tub with starlight views, gorgeous vistas all around, a REALLY comfy house (with no TV in the main room - which is just lovely. There are TV's in the bedrooms, but we've never once turned them on during our stays - just no need!). I love chilling by the firepit, and in their super nice no-wood adirondack chairs. The host provides the wood for the real wood burning fireplace in the main room - we sit in front of it each night. CLOSE to the Virginia Creeper Trail, cute little up-and-coming downtown Lansing NC, exploring West Jefferson, and FLY FISHING abounds. Cannot go wrong here - try it once, you'll come back again just like we did!
