"This property is amazing, first thing first it really nice, we arrived late night and trust me it’s worth it for the eyes. "Staff were excellent, a conference had just finished as we arrived and it would have been been easy to have overlooked new arrivals but the staff were excellent and ensured we were looked after well. "Although near the beach, the hotel is not on the beach, as it appears in the photos. Rooms are renovated but very simple, smelly toilet area and shower-head that sprayed on the ceiling. Not a bad stay, but definitely not a 4-star hotel, 3-star at best. Not worth the price, unfortunately. "

"Everything was great about this place. Super clean, right in the beach, and close to downtown and the casino. There was just one really odd element- I tried to buy a bottle of wine at the bar downstairs to take up to my room, and this seemed to be a big hassle. The bartender had to call some one to find out how to ring it up and the tried to give me 4 glasses- I can’t imagine it’s a foreign concept for someone to want a bottle of wine in their room. "

"This hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the cruise port and many other amenities. The train and tram stations are within 1 block of the hotel. If you don't speak French be prepared to use a translator, the staff mainly speaks French. The laundry room is great bonus amenity. "

Great stay at a nice price!

"I had a very good stay here and ended up extending my stay for an extra night. It is a good base near the train/bus station for day trips to Êtretat and Honfleur. Refrigerator in the room. You could also base here and do Caen in a day trip. Friendly staff and student vibe with many schools and universities in this area. It is 5 mins walk to the Shopping center at Docks. There is a Lidl grocery there too. "
