The website doesn’t make it clear that the fourth bedroom is completely separate. You have to go outside and down a steep slippery slope to access it. It’s partly underground and smelt damp and musty. It’s a shame there wasn’t a connecting staircase from within the main body off the house. The main house...

"We had a great family stay here in Pentrez. It really is an amazing location and view and we never tired of looking out over the beautiful beach - helped by 7 days of warm sunny weather! "We have had a wonderful time staying in this gite. It is situated in a quiet village, close to a small town. The gite was clean and well stocked with everything we needed eg hair dyer, towels, even a filter coffee machine. Everything was thought out and comfortable - throws and blankets in case cold (not though we needed them), outdoors tables and chairs with covers...

"A friendly welcome by the owner including a complimentary basket. The house is perfect for a short stay and is very well furnished to a high standard as well as being very comfortable and welcoming. The local beach is 2 minutes walk away and is great for bathing and water sports (surfing, windsurfing etc...). There is also a good seafood restaurant very close by. We would stay again without hesitation. The only improvement we can suggest would be the inclusion of wi-fi."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage, which is located in beautiful countryside but not too remote. It is very comfortable and well- equipped. The owner, Olivier, lives next door and is very friendly and helpful. Quimper is a lovely, small city and is only 15-20 minutes away in the car. We would love to return here. Highly recommended."

"A last minute booking, due to a sudden move from somewhere else. Stewart was great at communication. The house was spacious. We loved the kitchen. The children enjoyed the pool, but couldn’t stay in it long as the weather was sunny but not especially warm. We enjoyed the area for walks, visiting coastal towns and playing on the lovely beaches!"
