"Good value hotel. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms are a little small but comfortable beds and pillows. My only complaint is not the hotel’s fault, that is, there is a mosque nearby that provides 4 am serenading each morning."

"Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. "The place needs Reno or improvements from kitchen sinks, kitchen, bathroom. Overall it’s ok. The host Rafiq, he is the best , worked hard and hoping the owner gives him a good bonus or increase salary, it seems he works 7 days a week 24 hrs.Rafiq you’re wonderful, helpful and good what you do. Thanks a milion"

"Unfortunately the room that I received didn't have ventilation and because of that the smell was awful. The refresh it with some room fragrance but after 2 hour the smell has return and I really could sleep. All night I had to breath through my shirt, but even so the smell persisted. The staff are friendly and helpful. "

"The staff of this hotel were very nice. However, it’s not worth the money paid. The breakfast was an egg, a few pieces of oranges and apples, two pieces of white break and a mini hot dog. I had to go to the neighborhood supermarket afterwards to get additional nourishment. The bed was as hard as a rock. Very noisy room with sounds from the traffic below. But the staff, again, made the day. Extremely friendly people. "

Lovely stay

"From the start very friendly helpful staff. Although the hotel was fully booked it never felt crowded. Rooms in very good condition (Premium Villas) and just a lovely place to stay. Special thanks to Shaamil in the Sunset bar and the buffet dining area: very friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble!"

Maldives Over the Water Villas

"We were all very happy with the service. Also, it was great to have a separate restaurant for the over the water villas. Service and food variety were great! The over the water villas were fabulous. Being able to snorkel right off the back deck of the villa was priceless (and we saw so many kinds of fish!). We had the all-inclusive package and there were still a lot of things (drinks, restaurants, activities) that were not included - that always felt like trying to get even more money out of us (and high prices). Wish that was just a small exception to the rule. "
