"This place is unbelievably beautiful and wonderful. The hotel uses nautical flags instead of room numbers as a nod to the town’s history. The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was a very good European style breakfast. What really makes this place is the staff. Albert checked us in and then gave us a brief history of the hotel and explained different sites around town. After walking around a bit, we promptly booked a second night. This will be my go to when coming to Viana do Castelo "

"The property was fantastic! They went over and above for us when we forgot our swimwear in the town that we stayed the night before by sending one of their staff to pick it up for us. We appreciated it so much and we were able to use their amazing spa they have because of this. Thanks so much!! "

"It was pleasant, but extremely basic! There were nothing to drink water with - not even throw away cups! The pilows were about 5 metres thick. As far as towels were concerned we had two bath towels and only one face towel. The rooms were clean. The breakast was more than expected and fresh and enjoyable. The breakfast area was modern with lovely touches, the design of the chairs surprisingly delightful. The location of the hotel was spot on!"
