"A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list."

"The property was perfect for two families to enjoy a New Year break in Cornwall. Despite some wet and wild weather we had a fabulous time thanks to the spacious, modern, well equipped and comfortable property that had everything we needed and was ideal for our group of adults, teens, younger children & dogs. "Immaculately clean, perfectly equipped, well though-out for a super stay by as many as four. The silence was only interrupted by occasional sounds of cows and sheep in the adjoining fields and the call of the resident pheasant. Diane was welcoming and helpful. Only two suggestions for her: a spot of milk, a bit of sugar and a few tea bags to accompany the very welcoming scones and clotted cream would have been great (and taking a plane to a couple of doors that don't quite open). "Enjoyed our stay Cottage had everything we needed plus a good view to boot Met when we arrived and shown through all we needed. When we were there there was work being done which is good to see that they are always looking to improve. That said you wouldn’t know a builder was there as they were very quiet and reserved. Dog walk field a little squelchy, but nothing you wouldn’t expect with the weather at this time of year. Thanks for having us. On our list of places we will look to return to."

"What a fantastic experience being able to spend a week a very old Manor House. We found it comfortable, cosy and enjoyed being able to sit in the garden. Location couldn’t have been better, 5minute walk to a lovely beach, high street, restaurants and pubs. Host Gina and Jon were easily contactable and made us feel very welcome."

"Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. They left very useful recommendations, which we followed and were not disappointed. The patio area is a lovely sun trap well into the evening. A bit more garden for our bigger dog would’ve been great,...

"My second stay was as good as the first! The cottage is well-equipped, very clean and within easy walking distance of the beach, canal and town centre. The Wi-Fi works perfectly as does the tv, cooker, hot water etc. A designated parking place is a real bonus for a town like Bude as is the outside space with table and chairs."

"Cheaper than most and fractionally dated in its decor but thats reflected in the price. Great value for money. Located so closely to Bude. The perfect base to come backbto each day in a quiet location. The main road is noisy but you font hear it from inside the property. Views from the back garden a beautiful (yes you can see the sea). Check in and out was super smooth too. No real bad points."
