Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. Great Lake Retreat
We really enjoyed this Goss Lake home. The property is quiet and secluded. Beautiful home with amazing views of the lake. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were excellent and available. Would stay here again for sure. Definitely recommend.

This was a beautiful setting, surrounded by forest and looking out over the lake. The house was comfortable. The only issue was spotty cell service. Otherwise, it was cozy and comfy!

The lights went out!
We loved the house and the location. Perfect amount of space for us. The only issue we had was the house wasn't properly prepared for a power outage. There were some lanterns, but none of them worked. There were no spare batteries. Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely return.

Lovely little hideaway on Goss Lake. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Only note is there is no shampoo in the lower shower, so bring your own!

Relaxing, beautiful getaway!
The home was exactly as pictured. Very clean and had just the right sized spaces. Looking out over the lake from every window was such a treat! It was absolutely breathtaking! We were able to take the little row boat out for a turn in the lake and it was fun seeing the families and people from other homes out there too! It was very relaxing to be so close to the lake and amazing to watch hawks diving for their dinner, fish jumping, bunnies and chipmunks and Douglas’ squirrels in the yard, and bats at night! Definitely want to stay there again! Our only complaint was that there was zero cell service. If we had had an emergency, I don’t know what we would have done.

My new favorite place
I never leave reviews but this might be the best vacation rental I've ever stayed in. Immaculately clean and comfortable, all of the supplies and amenities we needed, and the most gorgeous, private, restful setting. Loved the updated cabin feel and the casual, thrifty/chic feel of the decor.

Magical beautiful oasis
This is my second visit and I hope to have many more. It’s a wonderful place to recharge! The kitchen is well appointed and the house looks just like the photos- gorgeous! I enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the birds. The house is not far from Langley, which is filled with cute shops and some great restaurants. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

This is an awesome house on a peaceful lake. A perfect island retreat. We would give this property 5 Stars If not for the high bank location. It’s a bit of a trek down the windy path to the dock. Fine for younger knees!

Perfect lake house
I've had this house on my Whidbey Trip Board for a number of years, but hadn't stayed there because I thought it looked a bit funky in the photos. Wrong! Everything was perfect and upscale and the lake view and privacy were amazing. I'll be back!

Family and friends getaway
We visited this property with another family and both of us have young children. The master bedroom has a cutout that opens to the main living area and the master bedroom has no door. Other than those two oddities the property was well maintained and spectacular. The pictures do not do it justice. A very beautiful property.

A Wonderful Place!
This is a truly stunning home on a lovely lake. Beautifully decorated and super clean. It sits high up on a hill overlooking the lake through the trees. It's mostly very quiet as only electric motors are allowed on the lake. However there are many houses around the lake and a public access, and voices do travel. That said, I am super noise sensitive and I didn't have any problems with the noise levels. A huge plus is the property management company. They are very communicative and clearly take excellent care of the property. Plus there's a rowboat! I would return in a heartbeat.

Tranquil lake getaway
The Goss Lake Chalet is a spacious and warm house filled with light and all the essentials for a relaxing getaway for an active family. Both bedrooms have lovely private views of the surrounding trees, ferns and greenery. The first floor bedroom is separated from the living room area along a short hallway and there is no door. This wasn’t a problem for our group since the family with children used the downstairs for their sleeping accommodations. All enjoyed viewing the lake from the deck. The grassy backyard was a great space for the children to play. Beach ball soccer was a hit. Family meal time was easy, grilling on the deck or cooking on the gas range and oven provided the essentials for great meals. Everyone enjoyed using the rowboat as well as the children’s kayaks we brought with us. This is a truly lovely space, well furnished and clearly loved and cared for by the owners. We hope to return again soon!

Stunning Retreat
Pictures may not capture just how serene and beautiful the landscape surrounding this house is. The house, furniture & contents are of solid, quality materials. We found the bed & sofa to be very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, with really good cookware & at least one mostly sharp knife (rare!). Overall, very clean. Although there were a couple of “ick” areas. But I suspect these were a random overlooked or not visible, due to very dim lighting in the kitchen. That said, this house is probably the closest to clean out of all the properties we’ve rented…and I’m very particular. One suggestion might be to install higher wattage/brighter bulbs in kitchen fixtures. I found it difficult to clean up after dinner so ended up waiting until morning to clean counters & stove top & each day.

The heating instructions were very confusing and could be made much clearer, and it was cold in the main living area until the gas fire had been going for a while. My only other suggestion would be cotton bed linen! The views over the lake were gorgeous and there’s plenty to do around Langley and Coupeville. We also did a day trip to Deception Pass which was stunning. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed in and I would definitely stay again.
