"The hotel grounds were lush but the inside of the hotel was decent, and that's the perfect word to describe my overall experience at The Boma Nairobi. The food was just decent. Breakfast? For the money, it was simply "okay." Truth be told, I was disappointed with my stay. The mini fridge had leftover condensation and a bit of mold inside, which might not have been a huge issue to handle had it worked. This is a decent hotel - it's not a 5 star establishment. "

"It is a nice place, but very remote, nice and quiet. You NEED your own translation. The taxi called by the Hotel to take us to a restaurant for dinner charged us $30 US for the ride, and we had to wait 49 minutes for him to respond to our call for our pickup. The host tried to get the TV and Internet working, neither ever worked. There are two very nice dogs that live there, friendly with no problem. There are young cats/kittens that can be a pest.
