"The hotel is located on top of the hill and the town, that’s approximately 20 min walk down a well bricked path is sleepy… It is not the hotel’s fault, but nonetheless the town only has a few shops open. Although, I believe most visitors are here for the open market or to hike the castle ruins beside the hotel. Overall, the hotel is excellent. Customer service is great and the restaurant in the hotel is superb regardless that it’s the only show with a 20 min walk area. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway or a relaxing weekend adventure. "The hotel was built in the 1960’s and appears to be mostly original, very mid-century. Everything was very clean. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and included eggs, pancakes and bacon made to order. The location was great for us as it was walking distance to everything, including the train station. Like most places, English is spoken."
