The house, La Chapelle, provided everything we needed for the week: plenty of space and facilities - swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis, bicycles etc. The four grandchildren loved the swimming pool and spent a huge amount of time playing in the water. The grounds to the house are extensive and well looked after with plenty of space for the children to run around and explore. The surrounding area is relatively flat so cycling is easy. The Loire...

"Dit huis is fantastisch! Een grote, oude boerderij, reeds 8 generaties lang in bezit, waar je een eigen accomodatie hebt. Heerlijke, supergrote tuin met schommelbank, ligstoelen en hangmat. Verder is het huis van alle gemakken voorzien, heel compleet ingericht. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving en op 10 minuten met de auto van een supermarkt. Voor Nederlanders zijn de bedden wat klein ;-) En onze dochters misten de WiFi, maar de aanwezige Wii maakte veel goed! Echt een aanrader dit huis!"

"This worked well for our large family group (9 adults, three teens, and our 3-year-old grandson). There is lots of room. We only had one night as we were between visiting Villandry and Chenonceau. This was a side trip for us as we were on our way to Bastogne, Belgium. Despite being there for a short time, Eloise was very accommodating and excellent in her communications with us. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay here!"

"This is an excellent property that is situated in the countryside with quaint little towns around it. It is close to the chateaus and the hosts were fantastic. Very clean and a safe place to stay. It was a cold evening when we arrived and they had a fire going for us when we got there. The windows have blackout blinds so sleeping is great. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. "

"This place was amazing. Beginning with "Greg" (best we Texans could do pronouncing this nice young man's name) who greeted us and parked our van and got us dinner reservations in the on-site Restautant and escorted us to our lovely rooms. We felt like we were in an ancient chateau with all of the modern comforts. I guess we were! Walking distance to everything in the charming town of Amboise. Our group of five declared this our favorite place is a two-week French road trip. We would all go back and stay a month if we could. "
