"The property was amazing and suited all our needs. We're a family of 19 with ages ranging from 9 - 76. Everything was perfect: the bedrooms, pool, outdoor and indoor spaces. We had such fun. A great location too."

The facilities in the complex are great. some lovely beeches a short drive away. car recommended if you want to go out and about. "Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."

"No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man . Unable to discuss various problems with A The oven that kept switching itself off and didn’t,t reach temperature! B Front door unable to lock properly!"

"We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future."

"We stayed in this beautiful home and we had a great time! The communication between myself and the owner as well as Filipa was wonderful! Filipa would respond right away and even gave beach suggestions, down to the taxi information etc. The location is somewhat remote but a 5-7 min drive away from places to eat and the groceries- definitely need a car! We checked in pretty late at night so while it was smooth once we finally got to the right security gate the gps had us go to one gate but it was...

"House was great but with few issues (TV not working on the resort, leak of AC) Restaurants are a bit far but the location is perfect if you want to access the beach. Will return without any hesitation to the house."

"Really enjoyed our week's stay. Fantastic property, clean very well appointed and the host was very kind in leaving us some items for arrival. Comporta area was very quiet which for us was perfect, no need for reservations at restaurants even at the weekend. Due to the off season it meant driving out to dinner to Comporta of other places which were all within 10 minutes."

It's in walking distance of shops, restaurants, and beaches but I would strongly recommend a car as the hill is quite steep. There's plenty of parking space. "When we arrived the place was clean and organized. It is located in a very quiet place. It is a good place to take a break from the city. It has good access to the beach and the villages in the neighbourhood I had all the essentials for a short break. Overall a very cosy place."
