"My sister and I traveled from KC for a 3 night get away. The remodeled log cabin was the perfect destination. Beautiful backyard that we will enjoy when we come back in warmer weather. Great for bird watching in the morning. Impeccable condition. Simple, modern decor. Beds are very comfortable. Showers have great water pressure. We are runners and were able to go on long runs each day on different paths. Already looking forward to coming back in the Summer. "

"Where do I even begin, we absolutely LOVE this place and Melissa is absolutely wonderful to work with and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable! This was our second time coming here and we plan on coming back every year! Beautiful sunsets and scenery-if you’re wanting to disconnect and enjoy peace and nature then this is the spot. We also love that there are trails for hiking and water for kayaking so close! Would highly recommend!"

"We held our Thanksgiving celebration at Heather’s property. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The large living area gave us ample room to celebrate the holiday. The property was very clean and a beautiful location. Heather was available to answer all questions quickly. I have stayed here twice and would stay here without hesitation again."

"I also posted on Evolve which is the property management company. But we arrived at about 10 pm on day of check in and there was mouse feces on the kitchen counters, in the bathtub and on all the beds and under the pillows. They offered the second cabin on property but it had not been cleaned since their prior guest, I guess the local contact was not aware of that because he sent us over and we had to let them know that. They did come out for a quick clean and linen change on the mouse free...

"Rented for a fishing trip and reserved both houses. Was very good for everything we needed. Plenty of parking, convenient to the store, gas station, and boat ramp. "
