"We had a nice stay at the Imlauer & Brau. Food was great at both breakfast & dinner. The hotel staff were so wonderful & went out of their way to help us. The beds were super comfy. My only complaint was there was no lotion, the shampoo was a combo shampoo/body wash & the shower had only a tiny glass partition so the floor was covered in water after every shower. We took advantage of an eco-conservation program to skip a day of housekeeping in return for a 5€ voucher to use toward snacks or the restaurant. Brilliant! "

"Loved this property and it's location. And the city of Salzburg was the Best, it's one of the cutest towns I've ever visited. Lots of all shops, restaurants, caffes all easy walk. "

"The hotel is great. It is clean, it has a gym, a sauna, and nice roodtop bar as well. We had a larger room for three adults and it was very comfortable. Right near the train station, highly recommend it if you are traveling to/from Salzburg by train. "

"It’s on the other side of the river where the older section is where most of the restaurants and shopping is but it’s only about a 15 minute walk. It is very close to the famous park with the fountain and gardens where Sound of Music scenes were filmed. It’s also a short walk to the booth to book various tours. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar with a view of the city. There is also a basement restaurant with great traditional food in large portions. It’s worth the extra few minutes of walking to get to the other side of the river. "
