"Fantastic stay at Ardwyn. Roger was a lovely host, welcomed us with tea and cake, which was much appreciated after our huge cycle to get there. The bed was like a cloud and the roll top bath was the icing on the cake! We opted for the cooked breakfast in the morning which was generous and delicious too, we will definitely be back. "

However, we were woken at 6.30 am by what I think was a door banging in the wind which was frustrating as we had a long drive ahead of us. And no breakfast was offered at all due to corona virus rules but I understand that room service could be offered so I wonder whether a continental breakfast could be offered in the rooms? "Lovely room, Decor and a great breakfast too start your day!! My only gripe that we had was that you couldn't turn the heated towel rack off or down...it felt like Hades in there!! Lol"

"Key provided didn’t work in my allocated room so I was allowed to use a different room which turned out to be a flat. Bit of an inconvenience but I probably got a better room for the same price so can’t complain. "
