"Une chambre d’hote comme on les aime : l’accueil chaleureux de la proprietaire avec un service d’un hotel 4 etoiles. Le jaccuzi et l’aperitif offert apres une journee de vélo ont ete tres apprecie ! Le petit-dejeuner est exceptionnel : jus d’orange pressee (de plus en plus rare), pain frais, crepes maison delicieuses, oeuf, charcuterie rien ne manque et servi avec le sourire. "An absolutely perfect stay, Chateau du Martinet is exactly the place for which we had hoped: a gorgeous rustic building, charming grounds, and a friendly team of people that went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. The hotel is pet friendly, and two very friendly little dogs greeted us upon our arrival. The driveway is a bit oblique to the main road and we missed it the first time by. But that is no problem because it is worth the drive. I look forward to staying here again. ...

"What can I say... The location was fabulous, the accommodation was wonderful and most of all Valere was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful! He has paid so much attention to detail which results in his guests having the perfect stay. "This is a delightful little find out in the middle of nowhere owned by a wonderful gentleman. It has a 15 m swimming pool and is incredibly quiet at night. It’s a bit tough to find, but well worth it!"

"We have spent the most fantastic 10 days at the villa - it was absolutely stunning. We loved every minute of our stay. Denis and Bruno are just brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning to the area and the villa. My only comment on the online listing is that it says 5 bedrooms, but the 5th bedroom is a sofa bed in the living area. "Wow I had such an incredible last minute stay here! We were so blessed to find this gem with excellent staff who all spoke perfect English. We had an amazing tasting next door at the winery with Natalie. We felt so cared for by everyone. The dinner was 5 star service and taste. We tried the truffle tasting menu with paired wines from the som, it was out of this world. The room was so beautiful, overlooking the vineyards. I will definitely be back!"

"Sent by Copilot: Mere Germaine Hotel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, France I recently stayed at the beautiful Mere Germaine Hotel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking views from the terrace. I stayed in a two-story room with a mezzanine and a terrace, which added to the charm and comfort of my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Breakfasts were a highlight, featuring delicious fresh breads and other tasty options. I also treated myself to a massage and enjoyed some time in the jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi could have been a bit hotter, I didn’t ask the staff to adjust it, so it’s possible they could have made it warmer. Parking was conveniently located about half a block away, but I found that I didn’t need my car much at all. The hotel is within walking distance of several vineyards, where I enjoyed tours and tastings. Additionally, the ruins and numerous restaurants and wine bars are just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, I highly recommend Mere Germaine Hotel for its beautiful setting, excellent service, and convenient location. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Châteauneuf-du-Pape."
