"When checked in - both rooms were super small with many deficiencies - they were dirty, main light did not work , handles on dresser was broken , we were given small towels (did not know until the next day that they actually have large towels). We were moved the next morning to better and bigger rooms which were much more convenient. However , these rooms were also not cleaned properly. A dead bug remained in the floor for our whole stay. "The hotel got amazing views, very modern and rustic design and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at Locanda, although i must say that dinner is very expensive with dishes that we didn't like. So we chose even not continue to the breakfast. Other than this, i reccomand you this hotel as a must stop for 1 night in the area!! Free parking is just outside, and you really near to san giminiano and the rest of the borgos around..."

"Nice and quiet location, a bit far from downtown (30 minutes by bus if it comes on time, there is a bus stop right across the street) and with limited ammenities in the area. The market (grocery store) only opens from 8am to noon and then from 4 to 8pm, so it was closed when we returned to the campground but on 1 occasion when we didn't leave the campground until after 8am, we found that it had a very good selection of grocery. The Superior Chalet we stayed had 2 bedrooms and bathroom in each...
