"We had an absolutely brilliant stay in the Chapel. It is much bigger than it looks with gorgeous high ceilings so it feels very spacious. With a two year old and a large dog, it never felt cramped or like we were on top of each other. And the bathroom is HUGE! We felt incredibly welcomed and will be back without a doubt. We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! "Two things that aren’t obvious on the booking: 1. The Spa and Gym are not included in the price. These are an extra charge even though the description implies they are included. 2. There are no blinds/curtains in the room (they can’t be fitted because the building is listed). Eye masks are provided but if you’re a light sleeper then one to avoid. The property is in a stunning building, a lovely area of the harbour and has been well renovated and looked after. "

"The steps you encounter are not mentioned. And are near vertical. A ladder brings you up to the back garden. The door to the property is the only way in or out and the only daylight. Steps down to the kitchen. 3 foot fall to bathroom and dungeon style chamber. Lightning is extremely limited and everything is painted black. No steps provided to get into bed. Great if you’re in your 20’s and don’t want to sleep. Great if you want a swinging party of 6 guests. Not great if you’re in your 50’s...
