"Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"

The house is big with plenty of space for our 3 family groups, and has a fantastic covered veranda to keep out of the midday sun. We especially enjoyed the pool, sauna, hot tub, table tennis and volleyball net. Laura is a friendly host, on hand if you need her. Would 100% recommend."

"We were given a warm friendly welcome from owner Nicolas who showed us around his lovely homely farmhouse. The house looked stunning in the warm Charentes sunshine and is set in magnificent gardens filled with flowers and a fascinating variety of trees including cherry, apple, fig, olive, chestnut etc, etc. The top of the garden has space for games and would be great for kids.
