"We had a great week here in August. Large garden, lots of parking and many beaches within 30 minutes. You can walk into town along the river to get bread in the morning. The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic."

You do need a car to get about, but we knew this before we arrived, and there are many villages worth visiting, so we were happy with this. "Nice property, clean and tidy - we enjoyed our stay, but if I was the host and lived next door I would be anxious to welcome my guest not make them wait for 20 minutes on arrival. I would learn a few words of welcome in my guests language and to explain workings of equipment. Further, there was a whirlpool spar advertised which we anticipated to be a jacuzzi type bath but there was not one at the property. "Gerard and Claudine are delightful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. The house is great and has every amenity. The garden is spectacular and together with the BBQ makes for lovely evenings. The house is close to the beautiful resort of Binic with it range of restaurants and bars. We recommend the fish restaurant close to the harbour wall. Overall the nicest Gite we have stayed in over 5 years of coming to France. We thoroughly loved our stay and wholeheartedly recommend it to you."
