Borgo Beghino is a mountain retreat in the heart of the unspoilt Emilia Romagna region of Italy. We offer top class accommodation consisting of two bedrooms, each with its own ensuite shower room, and fully equipped kitchen and living room, on a catered or self-catering bases. To the North of us and close by are the classic cities of Modena, Parma and Bologna, and 2 hours To the south lies Lucca in Tuscany. We can cater for all your meals if required, and they will be prepared for you by one of the owners who is a classically trained professional chef.

Perfect place, excellent hosts
We've very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place, grand view, the terrace is a perfect spot to relax und enjoy a book, a coffee or an evening meal (Jon is an excellent cook!). Kitchen well equipped, the house has all amenities for a perfect stay. Wonderful hosts, very friendly and considerate, they know the area very well and offered us lots of valued tips for off the beaten track places to visit. We dearly miss our conversations!

Gorgeous and amazing
We spent 8 days at Casa Beghino. It was truly a memorable experience. Most importantly, the hosts Jon and Jose were exceptional! Their kindness, hospitality, generosity and attention to detail was beyond our expectations. The villa was beautifully appointed with everything we needed to get started. Jon and Jose greeted us with Prosecco and snacks on a patio overlooking their unobstructed views of hills and valleys that surround their home. Daytime/nighttime views as well as morning sunrises are glorious. Their local knowledge of the area was extremely helpful! The roads leading to their property afford some of the most stunning views. So worth the narrow and winding roads that we grew to enjoy! Last but not least, we asked Jon to prepare meals for us. Together with Jose by his side, they were, without question, the best meals we had on our entire trip! Exceptional!!! We consider Jon and Jose dear friends and look forward to seeing them again in the near future!

Een onvergetelijk verblijf in Casa Beghino
Het was even zoeken voordat we de toegangsweg hadden gevonden naar de Casa, maar eenmaal daar een onvergetelijk welkom en verblijf. Jon en Jose zijn werkelijk fantastische mensen. Hun vriendelijkheid, gastvrijheid, vrijgevigheid en aandacht voor detail was zeer aangename verrassing. In en rondom het huis ontbreekt het je werkelijk aan niets, We hadden gevraagd om bij aankomst een maaltijd te kunnen krijgen, dit was een 3 gangen diner met aperitief vooraf, zo ontzettend lekker, niet in woorden te beschrijven. Kortom zoek je een locatie om volledig tot rust te komen en waar je het aan niets ontbreekt boek deze locatie Jon en Jose verdienen dit. Let wel je moet wel van rijden houden in de bergen, maar het is allemaal waard.

What a wonderful stay
If you are interested in a truly restful experience in the mountains of Italy, this is the place for you. The scenery is beautiful as are the accommodations. Jon and Josie are wonderful hosts and have an abundance of information for things to do in the area. The property is on a secluded road with no neighbors in view. Some of the highlights of our stay were meals that were prepared by our hosts. Jon is an executive chef with extensive culinary knowledge that gave us meal experiences we will never forget. The accommodations were well appointed. Each bedroom with their own beautiful bathrooms. The hospitality of Jon and Josie was wonderful and we were love to return again sometime.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in Alleinlage
Top Unterbringung in sehr schöner Lage. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend und als ehemalige Gastronomen haben Sie uns kulinarisch vom feinsten jeden Abend mit einem 4 Gänge-Menü verwöhnt. Einziger Nachteil war eine gewisse Hellhörigkeit, wenn man sich im Wohnzimmer aufhielt, welches nur durch eine einfache Tür zum Wohnbereich der Vermieter getrennt ist. Insgesamt aber absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Siamo stati accolti calorosamente al Check-in e le cose non sono cambiate durante la nostra permanenza. Jonathan e Josephine sono stati attenti ai nostri bisogni e non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla: dalle spezie ai sacchettini profumati in camera da letto. La cucina è molto fornita e questo ci ha permesso di pranzare in casa senza dover comprare detergenti, condimenti, latte, thè... abbiamo anche usufruito del servizio catering, ottime cene servite su tavole perfette! Torneremo sicuramente!
