Escape to our Charming Red Cabin home in Pinetop-Lakeside. Nestled on 1 private wooded acre on top of Springer Mountain, our 3 bed/2 bath home is ideal for families or friends wanting an adventure filled get away. Some of our great amenities include a stone fireplace, dreamy beds, game room, pool table, Directv, reading nook, wifi, hot tub, hammock and an awesome treehouse. Shopping, theater, hiking, fishing, dining, snowboarding and more are just minutes away. Stay, play and make memories.


Through the front door, you'll find a cozy family room with vaulted wood ceilings, a big screen TV (with Directv) and a stone fire place. If you love making stew on a cold winter evening, our small but fully equipped kitchen is ready to go and is open to the family room and dining area with comfortable seating for 8 people. Down the hall is a cowboy themed bedroom with a queen bed, lots of closet space and is next door to a full size bathroom. Provided for your convenience is a washer/dryer and iron/ironing board in the laundry/mud room.


Kick your feet up on the back porch which overlooks lush pine trees and the forest beyond or enjoy a soak in the hot tub as the sun goes down. Our 2 person hammock is a good place for a nap while the awesome treehouse entertains the kids (or adults) for hours. Finish your eventful day sitting next to the fire pit roasting marshmallows or telling ghost stories.

At the top of the stairs you'll find natural light filled reading nook with books for all ages. Also on the second floor, you'll find a bedroom with an awesome bunk bed (made out of wood trunks) with a full size bed on the bottom, twin bed on top, another twin bed and a nice sized closet, all to fit 4 people comfortably.


The third bedroom has a wood carved queen bed, TV (with Directv) and a nice sized closet to fit all your snow gear! The second full bathroom is conveniently located across the hallway. Our game room is large with plenty of room to play a lively game of pool or watch a movie. We have a great selection of boardgames for every age and puzzles to test your patience.

We have gone to great lengths to make sure our home is clean, sanitized and has everything you need to feel right at home.

Perfect family getaway!
The property was clean, spacious, and well taken care of for an older home. We have kids ranging from 5 to 17, and everyone was satisfied and stayed busy with all the different amenities. The host was very easy to work with. There were plenty of pillows and towels, and a fan in each room. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Cabin!
Beautiful cabin, very nice, comfy and well appointed. Definitely enjoyed the outdoor firepit and the spa! Great location, close proximity to everything we needed. Thanks for sharing!

It was tucked away so you had privacy, a big yard to do things outside if you wanted to as well as games and things inside. Very clean and lots of sittimg areas to gather together.

It was a great place to stay. The Internet was off but what do you expect being out in the woods😉 loved the location only thing is if the town has a parade be prepared that the only way to the home might be closed off.

Great Escape
We rent through VRBO a couple of times a year and this cabin was one of our favorites. It was clean, well equipped, clear instructions for an enjoyable stay, and located in a great area. We would love to stay again.

Great Family Getaway for Family
Our family stayed at the cabin for the weekend to go skiing at Sunrise. The kids had a great time in the tree house and also playing in the game room. The cabin is very comfortable and has a fully stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Darling, quaint, cozy cabin
Our most favorite cabin we have ever stayed in! Our kiddos especially loved the hot tub and pool table and absolutely loved it! It is equipped with everything you might need to fully enjoy your stay and clearly Laura has put a great deal of thought into this. The backyard is fenced and I loved being able to let my kids run around and explore. Thanks so much for a dreamy vacation Laura!! We would LOVE to come stay again!

Charming & Cozy!
We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean and had everything we needed for a cozy weekend together as a family! The backyard was a total hit with the kids (3 & 5) - especially the tree house. Inside there were plenty of games for us to play together, blankets for sunggling and plenty of fire wood for our chilly weekend stay. All of our communication with Laura was delightful and we can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Perfect Home Away From Home
This cabin is nothing less than perfect. My kids and I had the greatest getaway, the cabin is great and has everthing you need. The property is outstanding and the amenities like the Jacuzzi and tree house made out trip. The cabin is detailed and the has all you need in the kitchen, bath and bedroom. The coffee bar was the added winner for us. These owners truly care about their guests. We will be back for sure

Excellent Property & Property Manager!
This cabin was everything we wanted for our weekend getaway! Laura was great at communicating with us, and you can tell that a lot of effort and attention to detail was spent here. The rooms, living spaces, games, fireplace, firepit, hot tub, and treehouse were all very comfortable, lots of fun, and very relaxing. We felt very well taken care of. As we were checking out we were already thinking of coming back again with our friends. We would recommend this to anyone, but especially families!

Perfect homely cabin
We all had a great time. The cabin is very comfortable with everything we needed and more. Game room was a big hit as was the hot tub and tree house. The bedding is simply fantastic. Toddler, big kids, teenager and adults slept like rocks in the cozy beds. One thing to note, when using phone navigation, Apple Maps has difficulty finding the correct address, Google maps had no issues. We will definitely be back

Such a lovely time!
I rented the cabin for my 16-year-old daughter and her friends to celebrate her 16th birthday. We had such a wonderful time! The house was clean and perfect. The girls loved the treehouse and the hot tub. We even got a light dusting of snow before we left on Sunday. The house was very organized with towels labeled and plenty of comfortable blankets everywhere! Thanks for the great time!

Great stay
We are two families of four, with four teenagers ages 13-16. We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and comfortable for our group, and we spent many hours enjoying the pool table, hot tub (in the snow!), outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace, and exploring the national forest on the other side of the fence at the back of the property. We cooked all meals and the house was well-equipped in terms of equipment but if you plan on cooking, you will need to bring staples such as sugar, oil, cooking spray, aluminum foil, etc. The Keurig coffee/tea station was great, as was the huge board game selection. Thank you for a great stay!

Amenities and location!!
We stayed as a family of four for Christmas and had such a great time. The check in was easy and Laura responded quickly to any questions I had. The cabin is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. We used the hot tub, pool table, board games and played an interesting game of off road croquet in the huge backyard! It's a good distance from neighbors and still very close to town. There were towels available (I appreciated the makeup towels!) and a fully stocked kitchen, which is older and could probably use a little renovation but it adds charm. Check out instructions were easy to follow. We had lunch at Long Wongs on the way out and highly recommend it, really cool decor, tasty food and great specials. If you're on the fence, I'd just book it! We hope to stay here again soon!

What a great cabin in a really great area of Lakeside. Our host was superb on every level. Our group was a 3 generation family and the grandkids have already made us promise to come back to this charming home! The backyard area was a wonderland for them and they made the most of it. The house was super clean, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the playroom/gameroom with huge beanbag chairs and cabinet of games became their kingdom :-) There's a huge mudroom for tossing all your gear so it isn't in the cabin, maybe that's a dorky feature to mention but with kid's play equipment and extra groceries etc it really makes for less clutter in cabin. Our host was very attentive during booking and our stay, really an A++
