This was a great location near downtown Lakeland, some good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the place had everything we needed.
Quiet neighborhood near FSC and 3 minute walk to a coffee shop, a bakery and even a Kombucheria. Also only 5 minute walk to lovely Lake Hollingsworth path!

This was accommodating with nice upgrades. Great spot for our needs. Loved the neighborhood and oak trees. Would love to return again!
What a charming little oasis close to great shops and restaurants. The house was immaculate, communication with the host was fantastic and we just couldn’t say enough positive things about this experience. We felt very safe walking the area and truly enjoyed the neighborhood feel.
We had the absolute best time in this lovely cottage!!
Beautifully decorated and complete with all the necessary amenities required for a stress free get away. Loved being able to enjoy the city with everything in close proximity.
Nice little house in lovely, walkable neighborhood. The house combines good elements of chic city design with some historic features. Very scaled back and no clutter exactly as shown. We would stay there again.
Great property in lovely quiet neighbourhood with excellent access to lake walks would highly recommend. Very attentive owner’s always quick to respond to any queries.
This property was such an amazing place to stay! It was so clean and perfect location! Such a welcoming home to stay in and the owner was great and communicated with me so well! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! We will definitely be back to stay!!!
We wanted to spend Easter with my girls - one in Lakeland, the other just 45 minutes away in Tampa. The house was adorable. Clean and comfortable with great beds and plenty of fresh towels in the remodeled bathroom. I like a new modern look and this home hit all the modern buttons!
Will stay again !
Host was very accommodating !
We had a lovely time staying at the blue house! It’s decorated so cute and we were very comfortable in the home. We enjoyed walks in the beautiful neighborhood and checked out the many lakes in the surrounding the area. Brannen was a pleasure to work with and was quick to respond to all of our needs and requests. We appreciated Brannen so much!!
This beautiful place is perfectly located in Lakeland, and the host is great in communication and helpful with everything!
Thank you very much!
We'll be in this house again when we come to Lakeland next time!
Enjoyed our stay. The place very clean. Great beds, parking, and wonderful host.
It’s like the pictures very lovely. Heater worked well much appreciated as well as all the many thoughtful touches.!
Was a beautiful historical updated home just as described. Host was wonderful and quick to reply. Perfect for attending graduation at Florida Southern College. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home.
My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the property while visiting friends before a cruise.
The property is great. The host was accommodating and available for questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised at how close we were to great restaurants, coffee shops, museums, and a beautiful lake for evening walks.
Anytime we are in Lakeland, we plan on staying at this property, and our friends plan on suggesting future guest stay at the property as well.
The Blue House was a lovely place to stay. Brannen was hospitable and responsive to my questions, and since this was my first VRBO stay, I had quite a few. The home was well kept with great design choices, lending itself to a very relaxed and pleasing feel. It was absolutely darling! I enjoyed coffee on the patio every morning, taking in the charm of the neighborhood. I felt safe at night and around the community. It was convenient to be in such a great location, making it quick and easy to get downtown or the college. I will absolutely stay here again next time I am in Lakeland. Thank you again!
We quite enjoyed the property as it was in a very interesting part of Lakeland. Historical surroundings, good walking, close to amenities. We were disappointed with the stocking of some supplies… toilet paper, paper towels.. apparently the responsibility of the renter..we weren’t told prior to arriving of this. Bathroom was ok..toilet seat askew and the shower area was quite small… a bigger person(over 6 feet and over 190 lbs) would have difficulty with the space. Lots of towels for the bathroom but shy on kitchen dish cloths/ towels. It would have been nice to have a bbq at our disposal as we were there for 2 weeks and the weather is conducive to using a bbq for steaks etc.
Needed somewhere to stay for a baby shower happening down the road.
The property is clean, and supplied nice starters, like coffee pods, creamers, water bottles to get you started. The driveway next to the house was nice to get out of the street. Communication with property owner was easy. The bed was comfortable, and plenty of linens. Some of the neighbors looked a little shady, but was quiet and no problems.
First time I have used a Vrbo location, and it was great. From booking the residence to checking out was a great experience. Tv was difficult to manage, but we didn’t stay indoors long. Thank you again.
My sister and I stayed at the Historic Blue House. Everything was great, especially the interior decor. I loved this little place. Super cute, comfy and clean.
Lovely historic neighborhood with so much within a few blocks walking distance - a bakery, a breakfast shack, a coffee shop, a kombucha tap room, and a nice brewpub restaurant in a historic home. Also Lake Hollingsworth 3 mile paved path just a few blocks downhill. You don't have to get in your car for days if you don't want to!
