Cottage was very good,had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and it was very well equipt. Bit of noise in morning from building works and TV kust did not work as kept loosing signal.Staff nice & liked location,would stay again.

The fridge was not functioning when we arrived. It had apparently been switched off for cleaning and not switched on again. The bed lacked electric blankets. This strikes us as strange given that Tekapo is reported as being the coldest town in the country... The unit was a little bit tired and in need of new paint and fittings e.g. the toilet roll holder. On the plus side, the spa pool was great and the outlook onto a small park, pleasant.

Very nicely located in a tranquil corner near the famous Church and very photogenic Lake Tekapo. Within walking distance to the main strip and very close to the Tekapo Springs. The place itself was very comfortable with TV Wifi, full kitchen and laundry machine -- ideal for a family of four who want to spend a week by the lake. I hope to come again when the weather

Great little quirky spot to stay. Only issue was fridge was not working properly. Let the operator know. Hopefully it was resolved before the next guest stayed in the cottage we were in.

the wooden house itself is the parts of scenery
Lake Tekapo Cottages is a group of small cabin in the woods by the lake, very close to The Church of the Good Shepherd. The interior and exterior of the cabin are well managed, and the interior of the cabin is clean and tidy.

Perfect location for exploring Lake Tekapo
Owner was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Eastwing cottage, which was very spacious and well-equipped. Comfy bed & powerful shower. The washing machine was an unexpected added bonus! There was also free onsite parking. Excellent location - very peaceful and just a short walk to the lake and town where there was a good selection of restaurants and shops. All in all, it was a very comfortable 2-night stay.

Loved our stay in Rowan’s Cottage, cute and cosy and a pleasant walk from the cottage to walking trails, shops and cafes. Very friendly host, Steve, who welcomed us to the area.

We were very disappointed because when we arrived, the property told us they double booked the room. We were not able to stay at the cabin because the other party arrived first. The owner did pay for us to stay at a local motel, but obviously we would have preferred to stay at the cabin we had actually booked. This was a big let down!

Wonderful place to stay
Amazing small cottage. Very close to Lake Tekapo and the town. Near restaurants and supermarket. Management and staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Amazing place to stay, lovely grounds, owner very helpful and thoughtful. Felt like we were at home in our lovely little cottage. We stayed in the homeymoon suite and just loved it. Walk to shops and resteraunts is about 5 mins and the views are just incredible
