"I really loved how intimate this experience was. We had only one other group here and interacted only just enough to say "hello" in passing. There are HUGE berry bushes, lots of (tiny, harmless) wildlife, beautiful wild flowers, and trails to follow. On the downside, I was a little sad to discover that this space doesn't have a dock nor anywhere to rent watercraft. The advertisement somewhat led me to believe otherwise. There are, however, excellent rates nearby in Bancroft proper."

"We had an awesome time! The water access is great if you are going kayaking or boarding. But with the little kids, we went over to Diamond Lake Beach and it was quiet and sandy! Will definitely return one day!"

"Our dome was great as were the facilities offered at the beach for relaxing in the sun or sitting by your own private fire, kayaking or canoeing. We had not realized the lovely private bathroom was outside the dome but only 2 steps away. It was not clear that the “stove” was a single ring attached to the barbq but we made it work. Management was very helpful and available if needed. We are seniors, really enjoyed our visit and would recommend trying a dome. Thank you."

"The house was just what I needed. I Would recommend to others. Unfortunately, the entire time I was only there for a few hours to sleep only, as it was a photographer trip. However, what I can say is that it’s cozy, great bed, all the amenities you need (cookware, BBQ) nicely set back on the property for privacy. The host was great! She was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. I hope to go back with hubby but next time spend more time and relax there. "

Photography trip great place to stay

"The house was just what I needed. I Would recommend to others. Unfortunately, the entire time I was only there for a few hours to sleep only, as it was a photographer trip. However, what I can say is that it’s cozy, great bed, all the amenities you need (cookware, BBQ) nicely set back on the property for privacy. The host was great! Best Family getaway!

"Great place! Had all the amenities. Very welcoming. Great location. Thank you to the host! Our family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Easy access for manoeuvring our 24ft snowmobile trailer. OFSC Snowmobile Trail 179 was right out front. Hot tub was great! Beds were comfy. Very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly allowed us to bring our fur babies. Host was very attentive to all our questions. "

"Lovely older building with a new modern look and amenities. Our room was beautiful with serene views amidst the winter landscape. The lobby/lounge was warm and welcoming. We booked a hydrotherapy session and thoroughly enjoyed the use of the sauna and steam room. The food was amazing at the restaurant and the service was on point. The resort itself is quite remote, but during an unexpected winter storm it was the perfect retreat. "
